My sizes are all over the place because I'm so tall (5'11"). I'm currently in my maintenance range of 140 to 145 lbs and my clothes are anywhere from a 4 (which I view as vanity sizing) to a 12. I'd say my average size is an 8.

I'm 5'1 and 157 lbs this morning. I desperately needed a new pair of jeans since my size 14s are pretty baggy now so I went shopping this morning. I can now wear a 10 short (always need that petite size) of Old Navy's trousers for work. Jeans, I'm between a 10 and 12. That size seems pretty standard for me in different brands. I settled for a tighter fitting cut size 12 jean from American Eagle and they are a *tad* loose. Even with my huge boobs, I'm now able to wear medium tps most of the time. :)

I am 5'6.5" with a large frame and I weigh 175. I wear 8-12 depending on the brand. I have fit a size 4 and a decade old size 16 at this weight - go figure. But in most things, seems I'm a 10 more than any over size and sometimes a medium and sometimes a large in tops- totally depending on how they cut the boobage aea.

Per my ticker, I'm a size 6 in just about every piece of clothing I've tried. I have some 8s and some 4s in my closet, but generally, a 6 (petite) fits.

Currently, I'm an 18/XXL in bottoms, 14/16 (XL/1x/Juniors 2x) in tops, and an 18 dress size.

I just posted about this today. I am 5'5 and 161 lbs. I am busty with wide hips. I am currently wearing 14s that are getting loose, so I am thinking I am almost a 12. I wear XL or L tops, depending on the style and material (clingy or not). A few weeks ago I bought some tshirts on clearance at Target in XL. They looked really big and I was sure they would fit, so I bought them without trying them on. I tried them on at home and they are too tight! The material pulls obviously across my chest! I am keeping the shirts in the hope that I will eventually be able to wear them, but really? An XL is too tight, when I have a closet full of XLs that are all getting loose? Ugh! It frustrates me that I still wear such a large size! My goal is to get into the single digits and wear a M or S shirt size. It seems like most people with my height and measurements wear a smaller size. It's so annoying!

Hey i discovered size 10 fits me, but my thighs look very plum in that. But blouse fits me fine.

I..have no idea what I wear. I guess I wear 18/20's, but I'm kinda nervous about putting on the 18's until I'm back in the low 220's range because I KNEW they fit when I weighed that. I wear sweats a lot of the time. I also know that my 20's are getting too big for me, now, so I'm kinda like "hm.." I haven't been clothes shopping since November and that was when I weighed higher than I am now. All I can say is, regardless of what I am now, I'm trying to get out of it! :P
I'm also 5'4. |
Currently since I am back at 220ish--yes I gained a bit back :( and I am 5'5" and a half lol. I wear about a 12 on top (only if its loose in the sleeves--my arms are ridiculously huge) and about a 14/16 in jeans depending on the cut. But clothes are so different: I have a pair of Candies jeans that are size 11 and I have to wear a belt with them--there not my fave because of the size. They flatter my butt and legs and they camouflage my stomach :D

It's so weird, ever since I was 250 I've worn a size 2x shirt and my highest was about 347, so 100 pounds later and I was still in a size 2x shirt. I always thought that was really weird, lol.
But I'm 317 as of the 1st of March and I'm wearing a very loose 26 jeans and still my 2x shirts. I don't think I have a pair of 24 jeans, I might, I have to look, because I might be able to fit into them again. I don't like my clothes very tight and jeans can be a pain, especially after washing them, so I always go a size bigger anyway. |
I am 5' 0.7" (every centimeter and inch counts for a shortie). I weigh 118.4 lb and have a medium body frame. My shirt size is a size Small and my pants are size 2. All my pants are big on me at the waist and I have to use a belt for every single pair. My thighs are relatively large so I can't fit into a size 0.
Two different people at the same height and weight can wear totally different sizes depending on their body frame and their percent of body fat. People who are leaner will, of course, wear smaller sizes. My friend and I are about the same height (she is taller by half an inch) and I weigh 10 lbs more than she does but she wears a size 6 in pants and Medium in shirts. We both had our body fat percentage measured by a professional last week. Hers is 26% and mine is 13%. While she weigh less than I do she has more fats than muscles, hence the larger pant size. |
I'm 5'3", 115lbs and I can wear a 0/2 in women's 1/3 in juniors, and 14 in girl's
Generally I wear a S/M in shirts, sometimes XS. |

Wow, I must be very oddly shaped because some of the posters who weigh the same or less than me wear smaller sizes than me.... :(
I am 5'8" and currently 245. I am wearing 24w jeans but am close to 22w. Like others here, it depends on the manufacturer; I have a pair of 20 regular Levi's that are big on me. I have such a big lower gut area that I need larger sizes to be able to fit, which is frustrating because the clothes are baggy in the legs. I am blessed/cursed with big boobs so I still wear big sizes on top. I barely fit into a men's 3x and a women's 4x fits loosely. |
