Recommitment
I have been lazy. I have been apathetic. I have been more interested in convenience than my own health. I can't continue like this.
I was doing so well, but this past week I've just been careless. I like that word, "careless", because that was my attitude towards myself and my body for far too long. I can't let it reintegrate itself into my life. I have to be careful. This is my recommitment to myself: I will get back on track because I feel better when I am. I will walk 2 miles most days, or do some form of exercise that I enjoy. I will eat well, and eat enough. I will show myself more respect than I have been as of late. All this will combine into weight loss, as I've seen such results in the past. I will act in a manner that is conducive to what I want, so as to not masochistically sabotage myself. I will. |

Make an appointment with yourself to do your exercise. And keep the appointment (just like you had an appointment at the doctor's office!). You'll feel so much better if you do! Give yourself a pat on the back when you keep those appointments! Give yourself TIME to get your job done (losing weight). Don't sabotage it by thinking it will come off fast. Be realistic and allow yourself the time to lose in a healthy manner (otherwise you'll get discouraged). Set those mini goals and reward yourself when you reach each one! Good luck!

Good for you Kashi!
We all need to look at ourselves when our pace seems to have slowed. Recommittment is great! It is an inspiration for us all, to keep trying no matter what, because in the end our rewards will be great with feeling better about ourselves and improved health. |
Give yourself a big pat on the back for realizing that you needed a fresh start. It's best to get right back in there. Don't get discouraged. Be proud of this new attitude and new commitment. You can do it, you have already proven that. Good luck and well wishes.

Good for you, Kashi! Hang in there and just pick right back up again and climb back onto the wagon! There is a lot of room up here beside us, and we are making more room every day as we all get a little skinnier!! :hug:
