Wow do we have the same doctor? :) Mine told me NOT to go under 1800 calories... and I am losing weight at about the same rate I did in the past when I went way lower, which is exactly what she said would happen! I get in a lot of exercise too. |
I ate only 500 calories a day for a longg time.
I lost about 20 pounds in 3-4 monthes caught a virus and then lost 5 more pounds because the virus was eating away all my nutrients. I had to go to the doctor several times because my blood sugar was extremly low now im a healthy 123 pounds at about 5"9 (not yet there though). It feels better and im happy im not stick skinny anymore. I have a medium frame though so even at my smallest, I still didnt look rail thin. but anyway I'm going to try to exercise using weights and watch my eating habits instead of crash dieting all my life. I had amazing will power and it was hard for me to STOP eating 500 calories. i tricked my mind. I pushed my body to the farthest limit it could possibly go and I almost died doing it. but anyway back to you. I suggest eating a healthy 1500 calories and talking long walks outside. also try drinking nutritional drinks or special k so you feel strong and healthy. I wish you the best of luck. and remember, if you eat so little that you feel weak, you are not eating enough. period |
