I think I have tried every gimmick there is out there over the years. I agree
with the gals that say portion control. Counting calories work for many but I
don't have the patience for that. My favorite plan that has worked well for me
in the past,and that I have just started on again is the Reader's Digest,
Change One Plan.I found the book in the library and it has helped so much.
You change one thing at a time.First breakfast,then lunch,then snacks,then
dinner.You have choices:Breakfast consists of 1 cup cold cereal or 1 cup hot
cereal or 1 slice bread,then you can have fruit and milk.It's so easy to follow.
They do have a website but I think you have to join to get any info.
Hope this suggestion helps you out. Stay on this board and you will get lots
of help and plenty of support. Everyone here is great and they are in the
same boat so they understand where you are coming from.
