Hi!

Maybe if you're feeling sick because you're not used to eating less, you could fill up by adding more fruits and veggies. An apple or an orange will fill up your belly. :)

I go biking for my exercise (knee surgery recently, so not at the moment ;) ). It's a good exercise because you can do it outside, in your home, or in a gym. Most hotels that have workout rooms have exercise bikes, so you can even do it when you travel.

Hi, and Welcome! You've definitely come to the right place - you'll find a ton of advice and support here.
I've found that the key to losing weight and not ending up binging and sabatoging yourself is little changes you can live with. For example, do you drink pop? Try replacing your pop with water, and once you're comfortable with that, make another change, like always eating a salad before you eat anything else at dinner, or making a habit of going for a 20 minute walk after dinner. None of these things are huge, but they'll all make a difference, and none of them are drastic. I'd also recommend tracking your food with something like fitday.com - it makes you accountable to at least yourself. I know I'm less likely to eat something bad if I know I have to record it later! And make sure you read up on portion sizes - we North Americans often eat 2-4 times what a portion should be. Most of all, though, you just have to keep going, even if you feel like some weeks you're getting nowhere, because you will make changes, and you will see a difference, it just takes time.
