I Want My Weight Back!!!

  • I don't know if you guys know my philosophy, but its always health over weight loss for me (this was a huge change from few years ago, when I was still a tennager and all the drama rested on how I wanted to wear sizes smaller than a 0!) And I love stressing the health aspect of dieting! I also never weigh myself because I tend to get compulsive after a while...

    but I decided to weigh myself this morning.

    Now, I've been on a relatively okay eating plan for 3 weeks. Just 3 weeks have passed since then. When I started weeks ago, I was around 120. Now I'm at 111. I have this feeling that 2 lbs of the total weight loss came from my chest, and that makes me very angry. I don't want to lose any more weight. Seriously I was happier with my boobs at 114-117 ish.

    I want to maintain this weight but I'm already eating a lot (no seriously, the more I exercise, the more I eat). Any tips on how I could prevent further weightloss or gain my weight back?
  • Eat more.... It's simply calories in vs calories out. If you enjoy the exercise and don't want to cut it out - to gain weight you have to eat more, simple as that!!
  • You could try adding more good fats - almonds, olive oil, etc. Macadamia nuts are chock full of good for you fats.

    It probably is tricky trying to gain weight (I wouldn't know personally!) You want to gain good weight...but not flab.

    Are you getting enough protein? Otherwise, your body will have a hard time rebuilding muscle.

    Maybe you could post a daily menu?
  • My Dad belittled me into losing weight when I was I teenager because I had too big of a butt according to him. I started out at a very healthy and active 125 and my measurements were 36-26-36. I got down to 112-115 and I didn't feel good, I too lost my boobs, my collar bone was sticking out and I was told my face looked gaunt. I gained the weight back after a lecture from the family doctor (who was a poker playing buddy of my Dad's and told my Dad to lay off I found out later) I stayed around 120-130 until my second pregnancy. Some of us just aren't meant to be 110-115 pounds. I wish I would have believed that back then. Keep eating healthy and exercising--a healthy & tone body beats an unhealthy skinnier version. The "chicks" on here are wonderfully supportive & helpful.
  • I wish I could lose some of my chest! It doesn't matter how thin I get, I stay busty. I don't like it because I 'm so short (5'). Eating healthy fats is a great idea! Try using x-virgin olive oil for vegies, dressings and the like, it has a rich flavor (I could bathe in it!) Stay positive! And yes, the gals here are wonderful!
  • Yeah yeah whateva.. you make me sick! Just playing. See Im just jealous because I dont have the problem of gaining weight. How tall are you?? Im just curious because IMO 120 is a great weight! unless your like 4'5. Like everyone else said.. eat more calories, doesnt have to mean more food. Also, you can just up your protein and start adding some mass ( muscle) that will fill your body out, in a very good way. I wish I had pictures of my mom about 10 years ago. She had the tightest body I ever saw.. 135lbs size 2. Plus shes had 5 kids, AND she was in here late 30's. I just think thats very attractive on a woman. Better than chicken arms and legs. Again.. just voicing my opinion.

    I'm 5'3 now, and I was 120 and a 0. Now I'm 111 and I'm wearing my old smaller clothes, still 0. I just don;t want to lose anymore weight, but I really dont want to eat more than 2000 calories (I already get more than 2000 calories per day!!!) or skip exercising.... I just really reall want my boobs back, even if it meant taking a little belly too...

    My mom's a size 4-6 ish and she had 3 kids (twins and brother) and she's around 117. The problem is, she's NOT thin... she's got a medium build but she's losing bone density and muscle, so thats why she's light. I hope to be more muscular at her age (she's 50)
