July 4th Challenge -- Weigh In
Hey,
Has everyone doing the July 4th challenge gotten their weigh in done for this week? I would really like to see an updated loss number each week. So, how should we work that? Thanks, and keep it up! |
WEll not so good for me a gained a pound but that is okay, I have TOM coming this week. I just need to buckle down a little more. You are doing great 3 pounds already. Oh yea the nice thing is I can get back to the gym and will be going today.

Ive lost 2 pounds so far.. but I weigh in on friday which Tom comes about that day so dont know how that will go

I just posted my weight loss on the other July 4th thread lol are we using this one or that one..Im confused LOL..
I lost 2 lbs this week...I hit my 30 lbs mark today. Im so excited!! Let me know which one to post on. Is someone going to add up the total weight loss? Just let me know :) Have a wonderful day!!! Randee |
None here yet... well maybe half a pound. But yah :( FASTER FASTER! lol - I am working so hard and last night I thought... I haven't had many calories today maybe I will have a cookie then I looked at the fat in them and put it back in the box! go me! lol
I think I need to stop standing on that scale every morning... but it calls to me and it wont shut up till I stand on it... |
I just posted in the other thread too...I started at 165 and am down to 163.5. Woo hoo!

i don't mind posting in 2 different threads. :) i was actually down a pound this morning to 170 and TOM started today...so that was really good for me. I haven't been to the gym in a week now because my car broke down last week and was in the shop, but i still walk on my lunch break!! :) i should be heading back to the gym tomorrow. I can't wait. I am doing pretty good for this challenge so far. hopefully, i'll even pass my goal!! i hope so!!! :)

Take mine from todays weight as I only started on Sunday and want to weigh in on Tuesday and was at exactly the same weight this morning. Not expecting a fantastic loss next week as it's Easter Sunday and I will eat chocolate and going for a big dinner with friends on Monday.
My Tuesday weigh will hepfully keep me on target and am scheduled to walk 29 miles and do 2 spinning classes plus elliptical and a weight workout between now and then! |
I am down 4 pounds this week!! I haven't totally decided on my goal weight for July 4th, I should figure that out..

i am 155 today. i am planning on 135 before then, which is 20 pounds in 12 weeks. totally reasonable i think. :)

I guess that I'll post this on both threads.... Got on the scale today its been 6 days which is good for me since I was a daily weigher. Almost made it a week. Anyways Im down 2 pounds somehow guess all that yard work, extra aerobics and walking payed off, I was also very good with my food intake. :D
Down 2 more pounds :carrot: :carrot: , making it 4 pounds total. |
I can't remember if I posted on this one last week but I think I did. I don't get on the computer very often. I have lost several more pounds and am down to 153. I started at 176, so I'm excited about this.

Ive been having a ok week. Easter is coming up and we have a big family thing..big meaning with lots of food and 30+ people in my IMMEDIATE family..I swear, half of us are rabbits, and its not me lol. So im trying to eat light during the week so I will have some extra points for Easter plus my FP. Im kinda nervous because this time last year, I was on WW and totally blew it on Easter and just fell completely off the wagon and got back on in JAN!! I know this time is different, but it still makes me think. Im not doing that again because Im doing so much better than last year. Im dedicated, which is something I wasent last time. I mentioned in one of my other posts that you all should give me a hard time if I'm not exercising by this week...well, I am happy to report that I am back in the gym and feeling great about it! |
YAY!! Glad your back in the gym!!!! It does make you feel great working out! I complain and always try to make up excuses NOT to exercise..but when I do workout, I feel SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOoo much better afterwards!!

well, i don't really have a loss to report this week. i keep bouncing around 170 and 171. but it is TOM so maybe next week, i'll be down to 170. I may also not be eating as healthy as i have been. i haven't really been eating much of anything lately. not much of an appetite. :(

Thanks Randee. Okay my goal is gonna be....25lbs by July 4th. It's a bit high but Ithink that will make me push my self even more to get there. I think I'm going to have to modify my goals on other challenges. Oh well!

Rosario- you can do anything that you put your mind to! I know you can do it! Mines high to, only one lb less than yours, but we can do it!!!

wow, 66 pounds is impressive!!
I am bloated like a crazy person.. I just found out the oatmeal I've been having for breakfast has sucralose in it.. which I'm slightly allergic to, I tend to retain water, and get crazy headaches. I have to stop eating it otherwise I won't lose anything next week! My weigh in day is monday, so I gotta be perfect all weekend if I want to lose weight... easter weekend at that. I am determined! Hey everyone....I am thinking about breaking my loss down in smaller goals...I have gained so I am not going to move my tracker till I am down below the 199 mark...Untill May 7th I will be working on what I have gained...My nexted goal is to lose 9lbs By June 9th Thats when we go camping....I want to be 190 By then.
I like smaller goal they are easyer to get to....I got to get back on track. I have not been doing so great this past week...I have 5lbs to lose again...grrrrrrrrrrrr.....I am going to try to add some workout time and take some of the bad food I have been eating away...That darn Easter Bunny!!!!! I hope all of you had a great Easter and are ready to make this goal!!!! Get up and move ladies!!!! |
I only had one piece of chocolate for easter and it was a tiny little chocolate egg about the size of a nickel.. so I did good. :) Hope everyone else is doing well.
Lady Unicorn Ive broken mine down to smaller goals also. Hoping to be 132 by mothers day. And 128 by memorial day, weight just isnt coming off me like it was in the begining. I also started drinking some green tea dont know how well that stuff really works. |

have you guys tried the fruit flavored green teas? They are way better than the regular green tea.
I am up one pound this week. Not surprised since I didn't really do anything. I am determined to work harder this week because I'm tired of being 226/225. I want to be in the teens soon. Let's hope this week is a more successful one! Lady Unicorn-let's blame it on the easter bunny lol! jump back in and get your working out done!!! I love the flavored green teas. I cant drink the regular~YUCK. I love the mandarin Orange green tea~YUM.
Lady Unicorn- You will get those 5 lbs off!! Id blame it on the darn Easter Bunny to!! Hes sneaky ya know. Lady Jackyl- I only had a few pieces of candy to. Like 2 pieces. My son declared it was a "Free Day" but I didnt eat like it was a "free day" I hardly ate anything lol. well..I did have a few cupcakes :( but hardly any food LOL..I know I know..it doesnt equal out, but still. Rosario- You will get that lb off plus some! Just do some exercise this week. You will get into the teens here in no time. My easter was weird. It snowed here for like 2 minutes. Isnt it supposed to be all springy and stuff lol. It poured too. Figures for here in Oregon LOL. Hope you ladies had a good weekend! My weigh in is tomorrow and Im hoping I lose atleast a lb :) |
purplecrush - the weather was weird here too (considering I'm in Seattle, big surprise there!).
I did a timed 10k yesterday, 1 hour 27 minutes, I had wanted 1 hour and 20 minutes.. I have 1 week to improve that time! The 10k run/walk I'm doing is on Sunday. My legs are a little sore today, so I skipped the weigh in, I've heard you can be up in weight if you have sore muscles. Don't know how true this is though, just being careful! Is there anything to that whole Green Tea thing helping with weight loss? The fruit ones sound pretty yummy! Lady Unicorn - I am breaking my weight loss into smaller goals as well, I'm going on yet another vacation May 11, I plan to be down at least 10 more pounds. It just feels easier doesn't it? -Aimee |

Hey Ladies! Today has been a shitty day. TOM decided to pay a visit this weekend and he is kicking my ***! I have been very aggressive and in a crappy mood all day. Got on the scale and saw that I had gained 2.75 lbs! WTF? My mama insists it's water weight but I'm still pissed! Dammit. That also means that I didn't make my Easter challenge goal. *scrowls* But I'm cool. As much as I craved sugar today, I didn't give in. I'll be damned if I mess up my Memorial Day Challenge.
I went to Walmart to put my scale on layaway (this was just after weigh in and I was depressed) and as I was walking around, I saw this cute beach towel with Betty Boop on it. I love Betty Boop so I got the towel and put it on layaway with my scale. I'm gonna use it as motivation. By the time I go to the beach this summer, I'll be in ONEderland and be able to wrap that towel all the way around me. |
