Lose it By July 4th!
For my next goal, I would like to lose 15 pounds, and work up to 3 miles a day 4 days a week by the Fourth of July this year.
I got so much encouragement during the April Fool's Day Goal, so let's just keep it going. Let's lose it by July 4th! :cheer: :encore: |
Well Im already doing an april thing to lose 10, but I'll do this too, you can never have to much motivation thats for sure... I always thought when I started losing weight that the 4th of july would be my independence day truely. Hoping to be at my final goal weight by then. I know the last 10 pounds are probably going to be hard to get off. But Im here to give encouragement , So I'll lose by the 4th with ya ;)

I am going to do this!!!!!! I have already started on this goal. My plan: To lose 10lbs By May 7. To lose 24lbs By July 4. Eat clean work hard and at the end of the July goal to get a tat I have always wanted.....lol I plan on being a sexy 40 year old for My b-day in Aug. Lets do this Ladies!!!!!! |
okay, i'm in on this challenge. i just have to figure out a good doable goal for july 4th. let me see.....how about .....15 pounds. that's about 5 pounds a month with 2 days. So, i start today april 2nd at 173 and hope to be 158 by July 4th. (I too had hoped to be at the end of my journey by july but losing just one pound a week put me kind of behind schedule. but it's okay, as long as i reach 130 by halloween, i'll be cool with it. ***want to wear something sexy for a change this year***) LOL :)

I really need to lose the weight by end of may cause it's a check up with my doctor...Last time I saw hin in jan. of this year I have very high cholesteral and that's not good for my age and I am overwieght... So when I go back I would like to impree my doctor with my weight loss and cholesteral.... Have a good day I

uhhhhh jelly, i think your ticker is wrong. if your current weight is 167 and your goal is 145, your ticker should say 22 pounds to go....not 145 to go. just thought i'd let you know. lol. :)

I want in on this too! My goal is 24 lbs. I already have my mini goal for that day. My kids, my mom and I are going to the beach for a week during the 4th. I cant wait! I just love challenges!

We are going on vacation July 1st, so I am in on this one too. I hope to loose 25 pounds by then.

Good morning all...
tomorrow is my weigh in and im excited to weigh in. Im a scale cheater and pretty much weigh myself everyday LOL. I had a most amazing day yesterday. I finally had people notice my 26 lb weight loss! My sister told me that im going to have to start wearing clothes that fit :) My niece told me that I look hot. :) and my other niece told me that I look like ive lost a ton of weight :) its only 26 but heck, it IS alot. They totally made my day. Its about time that people started to notice, ya know. Its gets kinda frusturating when you lose weight and no one says anything. Have a GREAT day!! Randee |

i tell you what i am tired of....my pants fitting lose in the waist and legs, but if i try to go down a size, they are tight enough, that my upper waist billows over and pokes out. i actually had a go buy a belt this weekend to keep my mid-rise jeans up. but looking at the legs of them, they look baggy. it is hard to be sexy in baggy jeans. lol. but on a good note, i did get a date with a guy i work with who texted me and told me i looked hot!!! :)

Lumifan- I hear ya about the pants. My butt on my jeans are saggy and I can pull them down without unbuttoning them, YET, I cant fit in the next size down?!?!? I just dont understand that lol.Oh well. Im sure I will be in the next size down soon enough! WTG on getting a date with a hot guy!! Let us know how it goes lol

ahhhhh thank you la3y_un1c0rn and purple crush. thanks for the support. it does mean so much to me. I can't beleive i have this date with this guy. i think i am going to blow it because i have been texting him all the time. but he keeps the conversation going even when i am trying to end it. i'm afraid he's going to think i am needy. :( i am just excited. this is the first date since my husband and i split 2 years ago. i'm trying to play it cool the rest of the week, although my car broke down last night and he said he'd give me a ride home tomorrow after his air shift if i needed him to. he's so sweet but im so afraid i'm going to blow this before sunday even gets here.
(and we thought the only thing we had to worry about was our weight?!?!?) oh, and today i weighed in at 171.8. almost officially 25 pounds down and still fitting into my 16's :( bummer :( |

Well...I weighed in today and im DOWN 4.2 lbs!! I cant belive it. 4 lbs in one week! I havent seen that much gone since I first started LOL. Its nice to see after all these 1lb loss weeks!!

I'm down 1.6 lbs. I wish the tickers put in decimal increments. Only 18.4 lbs to go. I am really excited about this. This past week has been my first official week and I didn't stick to it as planned so hopefully this next week will be an even greater loss.

Hi everyone--I'm new here--this is my very first post! I'd like to get in on this challenge too! My goal is to lose 10 lbs. by July 4. I'm finally ready to get serious about losing weight and getting healthier. I know I can do the 10 lbs.--I recently lost about that much when I went on vacation with my family last June, but then I gained all of it back again (being around all that tasty food on the cruise we went on didn't help).

I have 14 lbs. left to lose, so count me in. I am having difficulty getting this last weight off, but I will try my best. I will be having a hernia repair this month and hope it doesn't negatively affect me too much. I appreciate the opportunity to try to lose this weight with everyone else. Good luck to All

Lumi- No worries... You will not blow the date just be yourself... You don't seem to be neaty just cause ya'll text eachother alot.. You figure if you don't keep the conversation going then he'll think you don't wanna talk to him... He like you for you and keep it that way :love: As for the jeans, I have the same promblem... My thighs and butt are small:stress: And my tummy is big. So I never really have a good fit with jeans,especailly after having to kids and tons of strech marks and to top it off weighing 205 at birth, So all that extra fat just haggin there... :dizzy:

Jelly- All im doing is Pilates, my stepper thing and some workouts on the On Demand channel. They have a Miracle mile walk(or something like that) and you walk a mile in 16 mins!! Its fast pace and I LOVE IT!!! I also do weights and stuff on my body ball. But thats all..I dont go to a gym...I do it all at home. If I can do it.. ANYone can lol
