beautiful day in Victoria today - perfect for a bit of frisbee in the park... and avoiding studying, of course!

Good Morning from down East . . . still dull and windy and downright cold . . . glad to see you Ilene.

Just been sitting here pondering time changes. Daylight Savings Time is a month longer than Standard time and from the sounds of things it will be even longer next year. Doesn't 'standard' mean 'regular' or 'normal'? Maybe DST should become 'Standard' and the current ST should be renamed Daylight Wasting Time (or something)? How about we just do away with time changes? I remember being told when I was a kid that DST was to please the farmers . . . but Saskatchewan (one of our biggest "farming" areas) doesn't change to DST. Hey, can you tell that I don't adjust well to time changes?

Oh well . . . have a great day (whatever time it is). Keep moving and shaking, just like our little buddy here . . .

Hey gang ....

Meowee -- I always found it silly to change times ... If it stayed the same everyone would adjust to it eventually...

Hey everyone

I went to the JUNOS last night -- and they were AMAZING!! My friend and I agreed to go and were some of the lucky ones who got tickets before they were sold out (they sold out in 14 minutes!)

I don't know if any of you watched it on TV... but WOW!! All I can say! :d:d

Had to share!

hehe and Michael Buble is good and all, but hte concert could have been called Michael Buble and Guests. hehe

Oh the best part was when the whole audience boo'ed Pamela Anderson for her seal comments!

Go smart canadians!

Good Morning everybody . . . the sun is shining today . . . but it can't exactly be called a mild spring day. . . Oh well, I guess we'll have to settle for what we've got.

Once again, nothing exciting going on . . . just eating less and moving more and (hopefully) heading in the right direction . . . downward.

See you soon, gang. Keep up the good stuff.

Yippee . . . Boy, after expecting the worst, did I get a pleasant surprise this morning. The scale decided to be nice to me and I got to move my little running cat slider 3 pounds downward.

Makes up for the dull, almost raining, kind of morning we're having in eastern Nova Scotia. Sun is supposed to break through later on and high of 10 is expected. We'll see.

Have a great day, gang. Keep moving in the right direction and I hope your day holds pleasant surprises, too.

Greetings from white Northern Ontario. We had a week of spring, now back to shoveling the white stuff and brushing off the car. Not too many more weeks of this to go.

I have been up and down this past month, mainly because of too many calories in and not enough calories out. Our favourite restaurant burned down in February and they just re-opened the take-out section. Great for the taste buds, but hard on the scale. I have to get a grip.
