I like to the way youj think. Its just something I need to learn how to. I always and often deprive myself, and it seems to me that it is my problem for over splurging once I do it. I always look at it as an cheat meal and will say to myself I am not going to eat a pizza for a while so lets have some more... etc. I know that deep down that its life and I will have slice of pizza or two here and there. Well, I just wanted to say that I need to adjust to think of it is a part of life.

Well, I look at it this way - I'm not going to go the rest of my life without ever eating pizza again. Or a cheeseburger. Or fried chicken. I just eat these things in extreme moderation. I even swing into the Taco Bell drive-thru now and then. I love Taco Bell and I occasionally need my fix, lol.
One of my favorite Taco Bell items is the taco salad. Huge on fat and calories, especially because of the deep-fried shell. But I make a few compromises - I order it without cheese, without sour cream and without beans.
The original Taco Bell taco salad with everything included is 860 calories and 14 grams of saturated fat. Without the cheese, the beans or the sour cream, it cuts it back to 570 calories and 9 grams of saturated fat. Yes, that's still a lot of calories and I could cut it back even further to 280 calories if I nix the shell. But to me the shell is the best part of the salad, so I can't give that part up. So when I want this salad - maybe once every 6 months or so - I just make sure I eat very little calories for breakfast and watch my intake for the rest of the day as well.
