Finally Doing It
Well, I finally feel like I'm doing it.:D It has been a long time coming. I am eating my fruits and vegetables. I'm logging my food. I went four out of six days without pop which is a big deal for me. I exercised five out of six days. I drank my water every day. I'm following Volumetrics and it is really working for me. I don't have anything specific that turned me around other than being tired of being fat. I lost four pounds this week from last but last week had a four pound gain because of my monthly and eating bad so I just lost the weight that I had put back on. I feel really good though that I'm going to lose the weight for good. I would like to lose 3 pounds for next week so I can say goodbye to the 250's. This site has been wonderful. I come on here everyday to read and post where I find that i have something to contribute. Thank you to all of you for being a big support and showing that this can be done. It is great to have a place to go where I know i can have support, advice, and the occasional kick in the butt when I need it. You are all great. :woo:

I am proud of you. I, am in the exact same situation as you except I am doing a different video exercise program. It is so amazing to have the "moment of clarity" where you realize that by next summer you can walk around in a bathing suit and feel great about it. Or at least okay. Tracking your eating is so important, that has been the hardest part for me because I don't have a computer at home.
Anyway, GREAT JOB and congrats. There is nothing better than feeling healthy! |

The Volumetrics book is AWESOME! That is what got me started last week. I haven't finished reading the entire thing, so I'm not really completely on the plan, but I am using the concepts I have read so far, and I've tried a few recipes. Yummy!!! :) I love being able to pig out and knowing it is ok! lol Keep up the good work!!! :) |
