SinaRose I did get outside yesterday to go to the park. I walked the loop once around.
weigh in shows I'm up .4 pounds. I have to do better this week.

Diana-congratulations on the loss. Every little bit counts. Keep the trend going.

Nettnett-good job, you got outside and walked. You are developing good habits. Plus you probably enjoyed it too after you got started.

My weigh-in showed I need to do more this week and not be stagnant. I will get those numbers moving again this coming week and in the right direction.

I remember trying to fly a kite at the beach once. I would run as hard as I could in the sand, and it felt like I wasn't getting anywhere. I couldn't run fast enough to keep the kite aloft. Often dieting feels the same way. The harder we try, the farther we seem from our goal. It really doesn't seem worth all the effort it takes. However, we need to hold on. When I tried to fly my kite, a sudden gust of wind came and took it high into the sky. The Holy Spirit of God comes to us just like a gust of wind, helping us reach our goals and making the result well worth the effort.

Today's thought: Jesus will give us the extra lift we need to lose weight!

Unhappy I need prayers Please!!!

Good morning ladies! Please forgive my absence. I weigh 156.2 this morning. I went to the doctor this week and she said I had lost 8 pounds since October but I still weighed 157 Tuesday at her office. I’ve been having a really rough time and I really pray for, your prayers and help and guidance. One night this week we had a bunch of teenagers that were drunk and decided to pull up to peoples houses and totally smash out all of their windows. Throw beer bottles at houses it was awful. My car is new and they smashed out my windshield, passenger window and back window. There’s broken beer bottles and glass all around my front deck , they used some kind of big heavy metal like drinking water jug to bust out my back window and the bottle went through and landed on my seat so we are hoping to get fingerprints. But the crazy thing is we have security cameras that captured every single bit of it, and even when we turned on the porch lights And was letting them know that we were up. They just still kept doing what they were doing. It was two girls and a guy at that. And the girls were doing more of the damage. The guy came to my door and beat and beat and beat on. It told me his name was Joe and he wanted me to open the door and come outside , I said no way I don’t know you you need to leave and that’s when I started hearing all the glass breaking. I did go outside and fire a couple of shots with my pistol just up in the air not to hurt anyone, but now I have to go tomorrow to get a rental car and then I’ve got to meet with the detective so he can watch all of the film And we live way back in the country down along dirt road that you have to get through a gate to make it back here and we were expecting the grandbaby to come and stay over the weekend so we left the gate open and they just drove right up in my yard and parked right behind my car just like if they were coming to visit. it is so terrible scary so that’s how my week has been going. I hope everyone else’s has been great. Plus, I could not remember my password for nothing and it logged me out of the system after five times but I finally got back in this morning. Sorry I’m late again. On way in day but I have lost a couple of pounds. Please just send some uplifting thoughts and prayers my way, because I am really needing it at the moment. Thank you so very much.

Nahnee-Oh my, how horrible, scary, and stressful that must be!!! What a mess too. I hope the detective can help you catch those violent individuals soon and prevent them from during more harm. You definitely will be added to my prayers.

Good morning! Had another gain this week. I’m working on a loss for next week. Just finished doing 2 miles Leslie Sansone. Will get cleaned up and will power walk to and home from lunch. 😁💝😷❤️

Hi Everyone!

We changed the time for our evening service at church. We made it an hour earlier. It has been harder to get a workout in on Sunday. It was very overcast/dark, cold and windy today so I wasn't able to workout after church either. I also made bad food choices today. Not a good day all the way around. Tomorrow is a new day.

Nahnee, how scary that event was. Praying for you.
I went to church this morning and afterwards to lunch with a friend
No exercise. Food was 1700+ calories not bad but not good either.

Ciecie-what were your gain numbers for last week and this week? I’m trying harder this week to have a weight loss. What do you find is your hardest temptation with food. I get tempted easily when others are around me eating food. I am trying harder to be full before I arrive in those situations or just try to keep myself busy during those periods. What works for you?
