I still haven't put everything away. I normally put everything away the same day I get back. I took less than I normally do. I must be tired.

I'm not sure how often Wegovy is taken. And yes, I have wondered whether my sister will be able to maintain the weight loss if she discontinues Wegovy, seeing as it is the reason her appetite is diminished. Since she has not had to find "the force" internally to lose the weight but it has has come from an external source...I'm not sure! But I hope for her sake that it works!

Still holding at 183 again today, I wanted to get to a lower number but I ended up eating sushi AND making ramen yesterday evening, despite eating next to nothing all day. Still, at least I didn't gain. I will do better today.

Good Morning, Everyone!

Steps from yesterday: 10,011

Have a Blessed day and stay safe and healthy!

Copied from Crosswalk Devotions for Dieters

September 10

2 Timothy 1:7
For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

Brenda decided it was time to lose weight, and she did. Peggy struggled a little bit more, but she lost the pounds she wanted to, also. Tracy wondered why everyone else seemed to do so well, while she did so poorly. Maybe something was wrong with her! Maybe she couldn't lose weight. The more she thought about it, the more frightened she became. Often our mind turns out to be our worst enemy when we try to diet. We can alarm ourselves needlessly. Everyone diets differently, and everyone receives different results. There is no place for fear and doubting in dieting. What we need is perseverance and faith that God will help us.

Today's thought: I have a very skinny spirit!

A busy weekend. Our little girl turns 4 this week and her parents held a birthday party yesterday. This morning I've been to church.
This week I need to concentrate on my food intake.

Good afternoon! Nettnett, Happy Belated Birthday to your granddaughter! My birthday is today. Had a busy day today. Went to church this morning. Power walked to lunch after church. Ran errands on the way home from lunch. 😁📚😷🌞

Good afternoon,
busy weekend here, Yesterday I made the scallops with a salad, Tonight I will bake the pork chops with butternut squash, red sweet potatoes, and carrots.

Yangster-I didn't grow much this year, I was focused on other things, I have strawberries and blueberries in 3 of my raised beds.I did plant about 2oo onions and some purple potatoes but I just never got around to starting seeds in April. I have been saving my own seeds and I have great heirloom tomatoes but just didn't get to it. I usually have a large variety of greens and other items, maybe next year.

Nett-happy birthday to your grand, my youngest grand is 12 and the oldest turns 23 next month, YIKES!

Ladyb-I hope the fact that she has lost so much weight will help your sister in maintaining it. I know from the many, many times I have lost and regained it was because I just never changed my lifestyle. That is my big focus right now, and I consider weight loss and better health as the side effects. I sometimes find it a bit exhausting as I figure I do at least an hour of planning, prep, cooking and clean up for a meal that I eat in 10 minutes. I do try to make extra so I will have another dinner or a lunch. I am cooking 4 pork chops tonight, I never eat more than 1 but DBF will likely eat 2, I hope to have one left with veggies for tomorrow's dinner.
I wish I liked tofu, as it might make a meatless dinner once a week, but not sure I can choke it down. I think a stir fry with a small amount of chicken and a ton of veggies and some whole grain pasta will be a good meal for Tues and Wed. I am almost out of salad fixings so I will be back to the coop. This is a local market where all the meats, produce, and dairy are certified organic and or hormone and antibiotic free. It costs more and that is a good thing because I don't have money to spend in stuff I do not need to eat.
