Ben was afraid to even try a diet. He never had much luck with things that required a lot of willpower on his part. He caved in much too easily. If only someone else would make his decisions for him. He had never been overweight when he lived at home and had his mother around to tell him what to eat and what not to eat. Ben would be the first one to admit that he had no self-control. Unfortunately, we all have to learn to discipline ourselves. God doesn't tell us what to do. He gives us complete freedom, but He will help us have the strength to make right decisions if we ask Him to. Include God, and He will make some wonderful things happen.

I want to code my own weight loss app for an iPhone. I tried Weight Loss Buddy but it seems glitchy, I tried to go to my profile and it just got stuck on that page.

Unfortunately that means I'd need to buy an Apple computer - not cheap. Plus I'd probably have to learn a totally different programming language in order to code the app.

There would be a heck of a lot to learn but doing so would take my mind off my obsession with food. It would give me a project. Besides my novel, which at 50 pages I'm stuck on because I can't figure out how the main character changes from within. Because I don't know how to change myself from within, basically, and the novel is reflective of what I'm dealing with.

Good Morning, Everyone!

Yesterday was a disaster for me. There was a 50th wedding anniversary party for a husband and wife at our church. Remember the friend I had a church and we broke up? I have continued to struggle with this and I have no idea why, but she gets on my last nerve, LOL. It's funny thinking about it. But she is constantly striving to be the center of attention and she keeps getting louder and louder. Yesterday we were all at this party and she was across the table from me. We were in a very large house and her voice echoed everywhere. It's literally like she is trying to get my attention. I couldn't believe how loud she was. When she was outside you could hear her in the house. It was a horrible day for me. I overate and feel even worse today. I feel so beaten down. This week we are all going on a bus trip together as a church family. I am dreading this and I have wanted to go on this trip for years. UGH!

God was such a big help when Gwen began her diet, but He didn't seem to care much anymore. Lately, Gwen's diet had become almost intolerable. She began to wonder if God knew what she was going through. She had prayed daily when she started her diet, and it had gotten so easy that she really didn't need to pray all the time. Then, it started getting harder. Why did God let that happen? Poor Gwen never realized that God hadn't changed, but she had. She included God all the time at first, then she left Him out more and more. God will help us just as much as we allow Him to. Often we are our own, and God's, worst enemy when we take our lives out of God's hands and put them into our own.

I have been busy all day. I had 25 in Kohls cash so I bought myself a new updated Fitbit, the one I have doesn't hold a charge and it is annoying me. so I got it on sale to boot and got anothr $30 in Kohls cash I can spend next week.

I finished up the 2 picture frames I had started, got photos in them and all hardware on. Worked on one of my 3d resin pictures, it is setting up and I can add a hanger tomorrow.

Diana-Ouch! Tough and sorry she got to you and you overate. At some point hopefully someone else will be tired of her behavior, take her aside and tell her to cool it. I guess I would just keep ignoring her and SMILE, nothing irks someone who is trying to get to you more than amused smile.
LadyB- not sure what the male character's situation is but maybe he needs to hit rock bottom in the book, then he might change, it is how a lot of people have to get before they decide to change their lives.
DBF has another dog with a UTI so he didn't come down, I am heading up there tomorrow and will stay for a few days. I am doing laundry and packing tonight so it will be a quick run after breakfast.

Thank you. That's exactly what I have been doing. It just got on my nerves yesterday. Actually our Pastor has even had a talk with her at one point. It is what it is. I just need to control my emotions.

I gained 3 lbs in two weeks which was expected. LOL. My eating was off track totally
Gaining is much easier than losing, takes no effort at all. LOL

Will do better this week.
