The pool was busy this morning, so I ran 5K on the treadmill instead. :dizzy:

The new gym is nice except the short, shallow, 4-lane only pool.

It's a great value overall tho. LOL

This is from the other thread:

SinaRose:

I have kept going shorter to get more volume and to be able to manage what hair I have. I would like to wear a wig to try to grow it out. I don't have a lot of patience growing it, so maybe this will help. My friend took a picture of me and everyone thought it was my hair but when I was younger. Everyone says I look 20 years younger with it.

Diana- I also have very, very thin hair. My hair is down just past my shoulders. It was longer, but I cut it. I have been considering cutting it shorter to give it a bit more bounce to shoulder length. Anyways, I have never tried on a wig. It would be fun to do. Just to see myself in a different way. In the 60’s and early 70’s they were very popular. Many women seemed to have them. I say go with what makes you feel good. It would be like changing your hair style for a period of time. Only in this case, you can change back to your previous style if you don’t like it. Good luck with whatever you decide.

Mark 9:23
Jesus said unto him, 'If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.'

All my friends said they didn't think I could do it. They had watched me stuff myself so many times; they didn't think I had any self-control at all. I showed them. I knew in my heart I could make it. Sure, it was tough, but I'm no quitter. When the going got the toughest, it just made me more determined to lose the weight. The key is to believe in yourself. God believes in us, even though we don't always deserve His trust. If God can believe in us, then who are we to do otherwise? Pray for God's assurance, and you will find more than enough faith to make it through.

Today's thought: God believes in me!

Hello everyone, thought I would join May's thread and see if I have better luck posting more often.
Have no scale so no weigh in's
WO have been mostly low energy, barely getting in 5,000 steps a day. The weather is cold in northern OH....I was expecting at least in the 70's HA and HA HA HA on me. I brought 3 long sleeved shirts and am getting pretty tired of them.

Diana, I too have thin hair, fine to boot. I have to keep it short or I look like a drowned rat. it grew out during the pandemic but it did not look good. And trying to 'fluff' it up...well what a waste of energy. I am interested in trying wigs but I am pretty intimidated by them.

Ok back I hope tomorrow.....

Romans 8:28
And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

Ed didn't really know what made him decide to try to take weight off, but now he was glad. His doctor had discovered an irregular heartbeat, and he told Ed to be thankful that he didn't have to carry around so much weight anymore, or his poor heart just wouldn't be able to bear the load. Ed secretly thanked the Lord for helping him out. No matter what had motivated Ed to lose, by doing so he had saved his own life. It was ironic, but Ed had always known that God makes all things work out for the best. After this, no one could ever convince him differently!

Today's thought: My diet may be the best idea God's had all day!
