Hi Everyone!

Has anyone tried Xtreme Wellness tortilla wraps? I made fajita's tight and wrapped them in the tortilla. It was really good. The calories are low, fiber and protein higher.

I made a simple salad for lunch today that was really good. In a bowl I did a layer of chopped romaine, next a layer of match stick/shredded carrots, then some cannellini beans, drizzle some Panera Asian Sesame dressing. Do another layer like the first. It was really tasty.

James 5:16
Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

The group began every week by admitting all their transgressions. Having to admit all the wrongs that were done really helped act as a deterrent during the week. It was embarrassing to tell people about the things you shouldn't have eaten, even though they were all friends. What really made a difference was the period of prayer that ended each session. What a source of strength and courage! The group was the best thing Janet had ever gotten into. Dieting was almost a joy when it was done with such good friends. Sharing the experience helped Janet make her diet a success.

Today's thought: Confession is good for the soul and for the diet!

Seems like exercise alone is not enough to burn the snacks and desserts I eat. LOL

WO: treadmill running 1 hour
FOOD: Off track, too much dessert
I completely understand that. I have to constantly remind myself "you can't outrun the fork."

Good Morning, Everyone!

Yangtzer I used this wrap: https://www.amazon.com/Ole-Xtreme-We...07Y5KHPC5?th=1 It has 50 calories, 11g fiber, 5g protein.

I am also noticing that any off plan eating really takes a long time to get off, even if it's only one meal. I think for me age is a factor. Given how much weight I have gained this year, I better get something under control. With that said, I binged yesterday. Yesterday was the last day of teaching at school. It's bitter sweet because the kids came in complaining that it was the last day for having Bible class with us. That touched my heart. I slept in this morning and slept really well last night. Maybe having that extra stress off me will help.

Romans 1:17
For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.

Jean had gone to church for years and had always known she was welcome there. Barbara attended a church across town from Jean's, and she was beginning to think it just wasn't right for her anymore. Both women saw each other at an exercise class that met on Monday mornings. One morning Barbara lamented about her disillusionment with her church, and Jean invited her to come to church with her on Sunday morning. Barbara immediately felt at home in Jean's church, and the two women developed a strong relationship. Faith met faith at an exercise/weight class, and a beautiful friendship was born.

Today's thought: I will use my diet for the glory of God.

WO: Walking around the lake and mall
FOOD: Lots of ice cream

Dianna, the kids were so sweet How do you feel about eating consciously?
For me, It is very stressful to constantly watch what I eat. Food is supposed to make us happy.

Girl81, "You can't outrun your fork." Ditto!! Unfortunately, I suck at delaying gratification.
I always eat entire pint of ice cream at once. I think it's something psychological, not just lack of will power.
How about you?

CieCie, do you always do the same
Leslie Sansone routine? She has so many videos.

Hi Everyone!

Today I started work on cleaning the house. I felt really calm knowing that I didn't have anything to do but my house chores.

Yangtzer I have heard of that before. I also get tired of having to keep track of everything. I know people who never give calories a second thought. As far as I know they eat whatever they want and they are not large. Frustrating.

Total Approx 1365 calories +

Breakfast ( 365 calories & )
coffee w/cream & sugar
coconut water 90 calories
5 prunes 100 calories
protein shake 175 calories

Lunch ( 400 Calories)
sandwich 400 calories

Dinner (600 Calories)
vegetable beef soup 500 calories
yogurt w/strawberries 100 calories

Exercise:
no workout, started cleaning the house. will finish tomorrow

Have a Blessed evening!

Mark 16:16
'He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.'

It is so easy to be tossed back and forth in our commitment to our diets. One day they seem worth the effort, and the next they seem like such a drag. It feels like they will never end, and nothing we do makes the time pass any faster. The sad fact is, it is up to us. If we stick to our diets, we'll lose weight. If we cheat, then we can't expect to lose. Just as the Christian who believes receives the eternal reward and those who don't believe will have no part in it, dieters who remain faithful reap the reward, while those who lose heart receive nothing.

Today's thought: In dieting, the biggest winner is the biggest loser!
