Good night all! Did 2 miles Leslie Sansone before I left for church this morning. Got a ride to the restaurant for lunch. Power walked and ran errands on the way home. Took out the laundry that I dried Friday night and folded it. Put a load of laundry in the washer before I left for church this morning. I split it into three dryer loads. Put the first load in the dryer after I took the load of laundry I dried on Friday night out. I folded that load when it was done drying. I did the same with the second load. The third load is just towels so that will wait until later on in the week. I watched a movie I recorded on TCM in December this afternoon. I went for a power walk and ran errands after the movie. Had supper when I got home. Did 2 more miles Leslie Sansone after supper. My fitness goals for today have been attained. 😁🐰😷🐇

Good Morning, Everyone!

Yesterday was a disaster all the way around. Today is a new day. I'm not going to weigh in tomorrow. I will weigh in on the last day of the month. I'm so frustrated with myself. I can't seem to sting together more than a week of good eating.

Ciecie You were busy yesterday!

Steps from yesterday: 6,664

Have a Blessed day and stay safe and healthy!

Copied from Crosswalk Devotions for Dieters

March 27

Psalm 84:11
For the Lord God is a sun and shield: the Lord will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.

I can remember a time when I was on the verge of tears because I was so hungry. I had fasted for almost five straight days, and some friends of mine walked in eating cheeseburgers. The smell assaulted my nose, and the sight of the burgers caused my stomach to clutch and growl. I look back on that incident now and realize that I could not have made it, if it hadn't been for the Lord. When I think of God as my shield, I think of all the times I feel like giving up because I'm too weak to fight. At those times I'm all the more thankful that I have God to rest upon.

I'm still here but barely and I'm stressed. I got TOM today. Forgot to weigh in before coffee and waffles. But just weighed after BM and 195.6...not looking good to see 180s anytime soon.

This week was horrible weight wise. I went all the way up to 196! No workout except run of the mill shopping/carrying and lifting for work and life

Diana, we haven't failed yet. Keep going
ciecie today is laundry day for me too.. moving helps with cramps
Girl, your runs are so impressive.
Nancy, you have alot going on
Sina, me too...up..up..up. then DOWN

Yep still around
I can so relate to this but mine is more like string 2 days together. I weighed in once and am way up...the bad part is my bigger sized pants are packed in a bin that I can't identify.so I am going to have to 'suffer' on this long road trip. My own fault. So now I have to focus on losing so I can travel at least without wondering if my pants will snap.

xx to all

Exercise yesterday
1.5 mile walk in morning
1.5 hrs elliptical in evening

Meals yesterday
Breakfast- toast & hummus
Lunch-vegetable omelet, veg bacon, potato, English muffin

Last week I was so cold, so I ate more food which helped me stay warm. This resulted a weight gain for the week. Not very happy about that.

So I am making another effort to moderate my meals. Last night my husband made a delicious looking pizza and I almost gave in to eating some of it. I thought about how I would be so disappointed with myself later, and that kept me from eating any of it. This morning I have a smile on my face as I start my day.

Nancy, Jendiet, Diana, Girl81- hang in there, we can do this, taking it one day at a time. It is a struggle that we can share together and work towards success. Yes, success is possible and is there for you to reach it. It is a slow process, but well worth the time and effort. Let’s do it and get there!!!

Sunday
w/o: 10 mile run
weight: 106.4 lbs

Jendiet: I appreciate the compliment, but I've been running for years so my body is used to it. Also, I'm much slower than I used to be. I wonder if perhaps distance running is easier than people think; I think maybe people just don't try so they think they can't.

Good Morning, Everyone!

Steps from yesterday: 6,114

Have a Blessed day and stay safe and healthy!

Copied from Crosswalk Devotions for Dieters

March 28

2 Timothy 2:12
If we suffer, we shall also reign with him: if we deny him, he also will deny us.

Jesus Christ arose from the dead, glorified and renewed. Before He could ascend to this glory, He had to suffer many things. Much in this life requires sacrifice and suffering before we can attain it. Ask any dieter. The road to thinness is a rugged one. Before we can stand up trimmer and healthier, we must buck up and buckle down. There is very little that is pleasant about dieting, except the end result. Jesus Christ understands what it means to sacrifice better than we ever can. By our sufferings we draw closer to Christ. One day we will reign with Him.

Today's thought: The power of Christ lifts me above all suffering!
