Good morning! SinaRose, how many miles I walk each day varies from day to day. Will have breakfast and work out in a few minutes. 😃

Good Morning, Everyone!

Ciecie A lazy day is good. I need one of those. I could have one today but my friend wants to go swimming. She won't go if I don't go with her.

Sinarose Do you carry your phone with you? If so, your phone probably already has a health app which you can use to track your steps. That's what I do.

Steps from yesterday: 9,839

Have a Blessed day and stay safe and healthy.

Psalm 9:10
And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee: for thou, Lord, hast not forsaken them that seek thee.

It was nice to see that the church cared so much about the ladies' group that dieted together. At the annual church planning board dinner, it was suggested that a low calorie menu be offered. Dieting was so much easier when other people understood and cooperated with you. It was gratifying to be supported by the church as if by one's own family. God had been good to the ladies of the church. God's love should be apparent in our churches. The church should be a place where we know we will be affirmed and supported. God never forsakes His children, and His children should be careful not to forsake each other.

Today's thought: No matter what, I'm not on this diet alone!

Breakfast-scrambled eggs, bread
Lunch-Caesar salad, chik nuggets, carrot cake

Exercise
15 minutes stretching
27 minutes elliptical
3 miles walk/ jog
30 minute walk

Diana-using an app on my phone would be helpful. However, I don’t usually carry my phone with me while I am walking. Thanks for the suggestion though. I will dust off my pedometer and get a new battery for it. I have it around my house somewhere. 😊

Isaiah 41:13
For I the Lord thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee.

When Jenny was young, her mother used to hold her hand whenever Jenny was afraid or worried. Just the feel of her mother's hand in hers gave her strength and courage. There were days when Jenny wished her mom was close enough to hold her hands again, but she lived hundreds of miles away. She especially wanted her mother's support now that she was dieting. Whenever things got particularly tough, she would close her eyes to say a short prayer. As she prayed, she imagined her hand in Jesus' hand, and she felt a wonderful peace and comfort. That image gave Jenny all the strength she needed.

Today's thought: I'm never too heavy for God to pick up!

Need to clean my slate and start anew with my exercise and dieting daily. I have lost control today. Tomorrow will be a brutal start, but I need to be motivated and committed to doing this. I need to stop sliding backwards. No more excuses are allowed.

Diana- I hope you will be okay.

Good night all! Diana, I hope you're okay. Another lazy day here. The weather hasn't been great for power walking. Also my allergies have been acting up. That should stop soon. Have an appointment for my wellness check up in a week and a half. Called to make the most today. Will be shutting down in a few minutes to go to bed. 😃❤️😷

Hi Everyone!

It looks like Ian is going back out and coming into Charleston, where I am.

SinaRose I have been struggling also. Sometimes you just have to say it's a new day and I'm starting anew, no judgment.

Ciecie Good luck with all of your appointments.

This is from yesterday:

Total Approx 1540 calories +

Breakfast ( 240 calories & )
Yasso yogurt w/banana 240 calories
coffee w/cream & sugar

Lunch ( 500 Calories)
2 protein bars 500 calories

Dinner ( 800 Calories)
salad w/grilled chicken & BHF's ranch 600 calories
apple slices 200 calories

Exercise:
Yesterday was my teaching day as well as church last night. I also loaded everyone's Blessing boxes since I was at the church. No workout to report.

John 16:33
'These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.'

Leo wanted to remember how tough it was. He'd lost the weight, but he never wanted to get back into the poor shape he'd recently been in. It would be way too easy to fall back into bad habits, thinking that the battle was won once for all time. It was nice to have succeeded. But Leo planned to make sure his success lasted a good, long time. It is nice to overcome obesity, but it is an ongoing battle. We should ally ourselves with the one true conqueror: Jesus Christ. With Christ's help, we can continue to triumph over our weight problems. He grants not only peace, but power to overcome any obstacle.

Today's thought: If we empty our plate, we won't lose our weight!

Hi Everyone!

I got into some snacky foods today. I got a 30 minute walk in before the rain started.

Have a Blessed evening!
