I want to welcome everyone to the Daily Accountability Check-In. Our goal is to stay accountable and on track by posting our daily food and exercise choices. All food and exercise programs are welcome. Consistency is the key to reaching our weight loss goals.
Introduce yourself or jump right in and tell us what you have been doing.
I love new threads, new starts, new resets, new less me (always hopeful)
June is a great month for me. It is when it finally starts to dry up and get warm here. This week we will see mid 70's and it not suppose to rain until the weekend. So yeah I can mow today or tormmorrow
Romans 12:3
For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.
There were three young men who found they were in need of help from their fathers. The first young man went to his father, but his father told him he didn't deserve any help. The second young man went to his father, but he was told he could have only so much help, then no more. The last young man went to his father, and he was given all the help he needed, and then some. The father let his son know that no matter how much he needed, he could always come to him. Our Father in heaven is like the third father. We need much help in getting through our diets, and we can know through faith that God will always be there to provide us with what we need.
Today's thought: The more I give up, the more God gives!
Diana: Another month, another thread...Thank you very much! /It is hot up north here, too. I don't envy your heat.
Rachel: It is not easy to do without computers...Glad you found a substitute. //My cats have cabin fever, but they are not allowed outside...
Nancy: Me too...I love fresh starts! The scale I use stopped working...It worked later...Maybe it needs a new battery...
SineRose and CieCie: Hi!
I did smaller workouts this weekend. Yesterday, I swam 50 laps, and today, I biked/wt. lifted, did floor exercises, and stair steps. I could have gone on a walk at the zoo, but, I had enough. I did some weeding yesterday. I have irises and poppies blooming. I discovered that I have a peach oriental poppy. What a treat.
Diet was okay, but I had a blizzard over the weekend. My wt. is up a half pound, but I am a half pound down for this month's goal...
Good morning! Had breakfast and did 2 miles Leslie Sansone. Just got home from power walking and running errands. Will take a shower in a few minutes. 😁🌺😷❤️
So yesterdays marathon mowing and putting out poison makes me do a happy dance on the scale. But....as soon as I start to eat a normal days meals I will be back up, maybe.
Today I am going to run some errands then go back down to DH building and work some more on the landscaping. I should be able to finish up today or tomorrow. I am also going to go to Wally's and pick up a heating pad. The past month or so my lower sciatica(?), anyway pain from my lower back/right I can feel go all the way back down my leg right into the sole of my foot. I can't sit in the car more than 20 min right now without having to shift my weight. What a mess. I know stretching and exercise are some of the best things I can do. So I will carrry on!
Good afternoon! Power walked and ran errands this morning. It was yard sale weekend where I live last weekend. A group I belong to held a yard sale at the church we meet at. I took the left over clothes to the thrift shop I volunteer at this morning. Will go for another power walk and run errands in a few minutes. 😁🌺😷❤️
1 John 3:2-3
Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is. And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.
Sometimes we fool ourselves into believing that to be like Jesus means to act like Him or think like Him or pray like Him, and we ignore that we should try to look like Him, too. We don't know that Jesus was thin, but we can be confident that He was not overweight, because He preached moderation and denounced gluttony. He cared for Himself, and He called others to care for themselves, also. How wonderful it would be to be able to stand face-to-face with our Lord and to mirror Him in both His spiritual and physical perfection!
Today's thought: When people look at me, I want them to see Jesus!
