Default 2lb Challenge Starts Sunday

The next 2lb challenge starts tomorrow (Sunday). Letís go. We can do this together.

Starts : Sunday/12June
Weigh yourself in the morning. Note your weight. Only you need to know the weight. You donít have to share it with anyone. What you do need to do is subtract 2lbs from it, and that will be your goal for this week. :

Default JUNE 2022

Good Morning!

Good Luck with the challenge.

No cardio Friday or Saturday, but I did a lot of weeding on Saturday. Diet okay except for ice cream and granola... I ate out and had soup and salad.

I cleaned out my car. I got a much needed haircut. I bought groceries...My new seedlings are doing pretty good. I can not complain...

Good Morning, Everyone!

When I updated my ticker the last time, it was different. I couldn't figure out what was going on with it. I played with it again this weekend and found the problem. Now it's back to normal, showing my weight, not just weight loss. It doesn't really matter, just my OCD stuff.

Steps from yesterday: 16,015

Have a Blessed day and stay safe and healthy.

Copied from Crosswalk Devotions for Dieters

June 12

Matthew 12:39
But he answered and said unto them, 'An evil and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given to it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas.'

Everybody wants guarantees. Everyone wants an escape clause: Money back if not completely satisfied. Unfortunately, the world doesn't work that way all the time. Often, there are no guarantees. Sadly, many people approach their faith in Christ in a similar fashion. They don't want to believe unless there are guarantees. They want to have some sign that will remove all doubts. There are signs of God's goodness and glory all around us, but we ignore them all too often. God does not promise us that He will take all obstacles from our lives. Instead, He promises to stay with us and help us learn to conquer them. We need no sign: God is with us, and His love is forever.

Today's thought: Christ is all the guarantee of success I need!

Yeah I weighed in LOL
So I have my starting weight, my goal this week is not 2lb though that is beyond a stretch for me personally. I will however aim for 1lb and take whatever I can get.
My sister flies in tonight and will be with me for the next week. So I should get some steps in. We are deep cleaning my mom's house tomorrow right down to the carpet and walls. yikes

I will check back in later this week or when I can with family here

Teri-weeding is a good exercise. It is just different. You get to stretch muscles that you donít use that often. You can usually tell the next day.

Nancy: glad to have you join in. Check in when you can.

Diana-glad you were able to fix your ticker. I need to work on mine again soon.

Rachel-looks like you have a good plan in place. Good luck.

Ciecie-itís great that you do all that power walking.

Meals
Breakfast-tofu scramble, veggie bacon/sausage, rustic grain toast, orange juice.
Brunch- mixed nut cereal with soy drink.
Lunch- soft taco shell with mixed salad, lime.

Exercise
15 minutes stretching
30 minutes elliptical
1.5 mile walk
1 mile walk
2.5 hrs ziplining
3 mile walk
