2 Corinthians 4:16
For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.
It is interesting how we feel so much better about ourselves when we lose weight. As the fleshy part of our being diminishes, the spiritual part of us blossoms. As we decrease our body mass, we find that we unburden hidden parts of our being. We are renewed inside as we take care of the bodies we have been given by God. It is not a matter of being perfect, but of being the best we can possibly be. If we will only keep in mind that we are temples of the most high God, then we will be encouraged to do everything in our power to look and be the best that we are able.
Today's thought: As there is less of me, there is more of God!
Hi all! Had breakfast. Got out of the shower a few minutes ago. Will be leaving in a few minutes to help set up for a yard sale in a few minutes. 😁🌺😷❤️
Well ladies, I checked my scale this morning and it shows I am down……..1.5 lbs this week. Yippee!!! 🥳
GREAT JOB Rachel!!! 🎊🎉🎊. You met the 2lb target. What dedication you have. You are a winner!!!🏆
Diana!!! You broke your barrier and got under set target goal by losing 1.6 this week!!! Now you can update your weight ticker too. Congratulations on your successful effort. 🏅
Teri and Nancy, I hope you both have good results too 😀🍀
Nancy: Do you notice any differences consuming collagen fiber?
I made this week's goal, this month's half-goal and a 10 lb. goal.
First CONGRATS on so many goals reached wow
Yes the multi-source collagen (egg, fish, beef, and chicken) has really helped both myself and DH. I had pain in my heel tendon so bad it was painful to walk my first 10 steps or so. I don't know if the ones with less sources are as helpful. I know this is costly and I use it once a day, one scoop in my coffee. You don't even notice it. At Super Supplements it is their brand and it runs about $45 a container. Each container has 45 services. So roughly $1 a day.
I forgot today was weigh in day....So I will have to postpone until Tuesday. yes Tuesday. Today family is over and yes I will over induldge, Tomorrow is are usual meal out, and Monday is holiday that I may or may not watch what I eat. So I my logic says Tuesday will be a good day to weight in hahaha
Diana, Nancy: Interesting to hear about products you consume. thank you for sharing with us. I wish, I wish that there was a fountain of youth. I think about buying some supplements..
I have been a little off. No exercise Friday. I was going to swim Saturday, but the pool was too full, so I did the efflexor for 30 minutes. And I did some weeding. Diet has been off, too. (I will not elaborate...), but I am happy to report that my wt. is still below my goals.... SineRose, thank you, thank you for being our "North Star" this week.
I took in 1520 calories yesterday, did recumbent bike and leg press for weights. I may try to take a walk before church this morning. Otherwise, no exercise planned today. Hopefully, it'll be a Scrabble afternoon with my cousin.
