Good Morning, Everyone!
My weight had bumped up again right before the mention of the challenge. I have been more focused since saying that I would join the challenge. I am actually down a few pounds, which is probably water weight but down is down. Still not back down to my ticker, though.
ETA: I updated my ticker and clarified the above information.
Steps from yesterday: 12,745

Hebrew 11:1
Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
Jimmy wanted the bicycle so badly he could taste it. His mother and father had told him to save for it, and they would help him buy it. He remembered his father saying, 'If it's important enough to you, you'll be surprised how easy it is to save your money.' He hoped this was true, because he sure wanted the bike. If we want to lose weight badly enough, we will be surprised how easily we can stick to our diets. When the goal is great enough, we find sufficient supplies of faith and determination to overcome any temptation.
Today's thought: I want to be a substantial person without having a substantial body!

It’s time to get ready to lose that big 2lbs. 🐥 Keep your focus strong each day and remember this is a team effort. We are doing this together. So let’s get started. It takes commitment to be a winner. 🏆

Good Morning, Everyone!
I'm not sure if we are suppose to post our weight.
Starting weight: 202.6
I'm actually down .4 from yesterday.
Wednesday and Sunday are a challenge for me to get a workout in because I go to church those days. Sometimes I go to the mall for a mall walk. Hopefully I can fit something in today.
Steps from yesterday: 15,114
Have a Blessed day and stay safe and healthy.

Romans 14:22
Hast thou faith? have it to thyself before God. Happy is he that condemneth not himself in that thing which he alloweth.
Face it: You're going to give in a few times along the way. You know it, I know it, and most importantly, God knows it. As human beings, we have to face the fact that there are times we are very weak. Too many people condemn themselves and find it hard to go on. That's nonsense. When we fall down and indulge in a special treat we should not have, we should repent of the transgression but not of the happiness the treat gave us. Those things that fatten us are good, and we like them a lot. There is nothing wrong with liking them, and there is nothing to be ashamed of in falling back now and again.
Today's thought: If God thinks I'm forgivable, who am I to argue?

Good Morning!
Diana: Good luck with the challenge. I, too, am already losing wt.
No exercise last night. But I biked, wt. lifted, did floor exercises and did stair steps this am. Diet okay. I am within 1 1/2 pounds of this month's goal...It can be done. I am much happier setting half goals each month... It is so much easier...

2lb Challenge Day 1
Hi Sister Chicks,
It’s another Sunday, but this one is special because it is the start of the 2lb weight loss challenge week. You don’t have to share your current weight, but of course you will need to see what it is to start. The goal is to have it reduced by 2lbs on Saturday. So hopefully day 1 you had a promising start.
Diana- hope you were able to squeeze in a mall walk or something.
Rachel-glad you are committed to joining the effort.
Teri- you are off to a good start with your exercise and eating. Way to go!!!
For the other chicks:
Ciecie- looks like you are doing a good job at meeting your daily fitness goals
Nancy-hope your remodeling is going well.
Meals
Breakfast-tofu w/turmeric, veggie bacon/sausage, English muffin, orange juice
Lunch- chik salad, water
Snack-blueberries & walnuts
Exercise
15 minutes stretching
1 hour walk
3 hours standing around cheering sports participants
14 mile bicycle ride
I was able to keep busy today so I didn’t focus on food some much. That makes it easier for me. Moving onward.
