I am a coffee person. I can drink tea but would prefer sweet iced tea. I am in the South, you know. I have gone through phases with drinking hot tea. I normally drink coffee in the AM and water the rest of the day.
  • Good morning! Watched four tv shows I recorded while I was at church. Will be shutting down in a few minutes to go to bed. 😁🐇😷✝️
  • Good Morning Everyone!

Today I am going to be a greeter at church for The National Day of Prayer.

I am up 1.8 from April 1. I have slipped back into some old habits, my calories have been on the higher side, most days. I have eaten the salad dressing at restaurants instead of bring my own. Although I usually bring my own. I have had more off plan days that I normally have in a month. Also, when something comes out, not as I order, I will eat it anyways, instead of sending it back. ie: order a plan sweet potato but what comes out is sweet potato with butter and cinnamon/sugar. A month of this stuff has resulted in a small gain.

    May 1

    Mark 9:23
Jesus said unto him, 'If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.'

All my friends said they didn't think I could do it. They had watched me stuff myself so many times; they didn't think I had any self-control at all. I showed them. I knew in my heart I could make it. Sure, it was tough, but I'm no quitter. When the going got the toughest, it just made me more determined to lose the weight. The key is to believe in yourself. God believes in us, even though we don't always deserve His trust. If God can believe in us, then who are we to do otherwise? Pray for God's assurance, and you will find more than enough faith to make it through.

Today's thought: God believes in me!

  • Good morning again! I got up earlier than usual this morning. I had to go to the lab for bloodwork today. Did my exercises before I left. Was dropped off at the lab. Walked from the lab to the rendezvous point for my return trip home. Ran a brief errand on the way there. Will have lunch in a few minutes. 😁✝️😷🐇
  • I had a wellness doctors visit. Had him to refill Rx's etc. We discussed several things so it was a good visit. He walked me down to the lab and had my blood drawn.
I'm spending the night with my nephew and getting some one on one time with my cat Except my niece is going to take her back to live with her. It will be ok. I just have to go visit her at my nieces. My niece is the cats first momma.
I did my 30 minute exercise video here at my nephews.
It has been a good day.
  • we had a family reunion.

Dianna..How was church? 1.8 is no big deal. You can do better in May

Nettnett..a wellness doc visit was great! What's your cat's name?

ciecie..what a productive day! when do u get results of bloodwork?
  • Hi Everyone!

Yangtzer The church event was fun. How was the family reunion? It's probably been 40 years since I've gone to a family reunion.

    May 2

    Romans 8:28
And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

Ed didn't really know what made him decide to try to take weight off, but now he was glad. His doctor had discovered an irregular heartbeat, and he told Ed to be thankful that he didn't have to carry around so much weight anymore, or his poor heart just wouldn't be able to bear the load. Ed secretly thanked the Lord for helping him out. No matter what had motivated Ed to lose, by doing so he had saved his own life. It was ironic, but Ed had always known that God makes all things work out for the best. After this, no one could ever convince him differently!

Today's thought: My diet may be the best idea God's had all day!
  • Good afternoon! Walked to and home from the thrift shop. Ran errands on the way home. Did a load of laundry before I left for the thrift shop. Put half of it in the dryer before I left for the thrift shop. Took that one out when I got home. Put the other half in the dryer. Had lunch when I got home. Folded the first half of the laundry. Watched a tv show I recorded last night. Watching a movie I recorded a couple of months ago. Will go for another walk in a few minutes. 😁✝️😷🐇
