Good morning or afternoon to all
WI still up too high but dropped .4
WO there won't be one today, but I am sore from yesterday
This morning was truly odd. I slept in until 10am. I have not done that since I was a teenager! I usually wake in the night and have to use the bathroom or if I try to sleep in past 7 my body starts to ache from being in bed. This morning I only got up because my phone started ringing. Crazy. I went to bed around 9:30pm. I hope this does not mean I am getting sick even though I feel fine.
Diana, Miss Connie will continue to be in my prayers, I pray she is comfortable
Teri I have some powder cheese flavors I bought but I really did not care for them that much. They are up in my cabinet, but I suspect maybe I do have a hard time digesting the popcorn, just like corn it is hard for the body to digest.
Rachel are you a full time care giver for your parents now?
ciecie, good for you to get a protective shot. I had the flu shot once but I most likely will not get any more preventive ones.
yangzter, how have you been?

HI Everyone!
I was very busy today with decorating the church and shopping for the Blessing Box. No workout but I got a lot of steps in. Also, I didn't do well with my eating. I had a binge. Tomorrow is a new day.
Have a Blessed evening!

Good Morning, Everyone!
I was thinking about my binge yesterday. I think I was around too many people and personalities. Way too much going on for my comfort. Sometimes I think I just need to go with the flow and take it easy but I get uptight. I don't let my emotions show, I just internalize everything. Work in progress I guess.
Steps from yesterday: 12,244
Have a Blessed day and stay safe and healthy.
Copied from Crosswalk Devotions for Dieters
December 5
James 1:12
Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him.
Shelley was thrilled when she was named homecoming queen. It had been a dream of hers since childhood. When she knew she was in the running, she began to diet. Weight had always been a struggle for her. This time she had great motivation, and that made all the difference in the world. She prayed for God's help, and He gave her the determination she needed to diet-and to win the crown. The crown of the pageant was one thing, but Shelley knew God had given her much more than that. Through faith, she had received life everlasting and a share in the victory of Christ Jesus.
Today's thought: My diet will end, but the lessons learned from it will last a lifetime!

Good morning
Nancy, I go over to my parents twice a day so I am over there quite a bit. Mom needs a lot of help with her personal care. At noon, Meals on Wheels comes six times a week so that is very helpful. I make their evening meal.
I took in 1900 calories yesterday.
Today's Plan: 1500 calories, 2 liters water, veggies, fiber, vit/min/cal supp.

Hi!
Diana: So sorry about Ms. Connie...wish I knew about some miracle cure...
Rachel: It's been a really long time since I went to an Amish market. I went where I used to live so it was not too far to travel to. There was a flea market, auctions, cafeteria, lots of horse and buggies. It was a lot of fun to see. A friend that I used to socialize with regularly attended the weekly market and also frequented various farms for different goods. I used to buy my mom old fashioned kinds of candies and t-shirts with birds or flowers on them... Some Amish are really good business people. I would not be surprised to find their businesses on line. I knew of Amish who hired the "English" to chauffeur them to various jobs...so maybe they would hire the English to do computer jobs. There were also Mennonites at the flea market...
Nancy: Hope you are okay...
I played Scrabble yesterday. I did exercise, biked and I did the arc trainer for 5 minutes... Today is my day off from exercise. My diet was off yesterday with a burger with an onion ring, a chocolate muffin, ice cream and jelly candy. But my weight is okay today. I did not buy any of the sweets that I ate. ...But my head is full of ideas for sweets...
OH, someone told me places that I can get grass fed beef...

Good morning
Teri, you'd just have to step out my door to see grass-fed beef! I adore the cows.....gentle creatures. One day I looked out my kitchen window and there was a big black lady cow looking at me. She'd gotten out of the pasture and came up to our patio. Sweet thing. Farmers rent our pasture ground for their cattle. The cattle seem so happy in the vast pasture. They graze with their calves all spring, summer and autumn. In the winter, they are fed silage, hay, etc. Confinements are so unnatural and cruel, in my opinion.
I took in 1500 calories yesterday.
Today's Plan: 1200-1500 calories, 2 liters water, veggies, fiber, vit/min/cal supp., walk on treadmill or recumbent bike.
