hello everyone
WI up 2.0 lbs, I really think when I have these big spikes up it has to do with me and the popcorn I eat the night before. This must be an inflammatory food for me?
WO was at the gym a bit later this am but still put in my 30min jog/walk and about 20 min strength
Today I am trying to watch my sodium and push liquids to flush my system. I will keep you updated LOL

Good Morning, Everyone! Happy Friday!
Nancy I have noticed quirky things like that about myself, too. Sodium drives me nuts. I don't understand why everyone else can eat it but I can't. Another thing I have noticed is with protein. I can have higher calories if I eat protein and veggies. That's why I have been eating the protein bars. The protein bars have helped with the binging, too. I'm in a better place mentally but anytime I want something extra I will have a protein bar.

1 John 5:4
For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.
Sammy was tired of making excuses. He was tired of being dishonest with himself and his friends. He needed to lose weight, and he needed plenty of help to do it. He was considered a strong member of his church, but he didn't even have enough faith or conviction to take off a few pounds. He felt like a hypocrite. Surely, the God who had given him so much strength in other areas of his life could help him lose weight. Christ had conquered so very much. Sammy felt he ought to be able to conquer so very little. Prayerfully, he began a journey toward fitness, assured of the victory through his faith in Christ.
Today's thought: A heart full of Christ is more important than a plate full of food!

Good morning
Yangtzer, Hang in there!!!!!! I agree; it's hard to get back into the groove.
I took in 2045 calories yesterday. Not really making bad choices; it's just adding up so quickly; i need to be more aware of how much I am taking in.
Today's Plan: 1200-1500 calories, 2 liters water, veggies, fiber, vit/min/cal supp., recumbent bike, situps, stretches.

Everything was good until bedtime yesterday. Lol.
I did 45 min YouTube exercise and ate about 1200 calories during the day.. I thought it was going to be a great day until bedtime. I was so bored and couldn't go to sleep so I went to the kitchen. . you all know what happened lol. I knew I didn't need the food but just couldn't help it. I'll try to go out for a walk if this happens again tonight. I'll let you know good or bad.
Have a good Friday, Ladies!

Hi!
CieCie: I am watching the Price is Right. I like the last part. I watched a film a few weeks ago called The Good LIe with Reese Witherspoon. It is about how some Lost Boys of the Sudan adapt to living in the Midwest. I had read a book written by a Lost Boy who came to American. When I first watched the film, I thought maybe this was the film version of the book, but I think it is fiction. I think it is a pretty good family film...//Hope you are feeling better.
Diana: I know some people who eat all sorts of stuff...their weight remains about the same. But they don't eat after dinner until breakfast... It is impressive to me.
Joe: I sometimes snack at night, too. If I eat late at night, I try to get something nutritionally that I missed during the day. Sometimes, I think maybe my body is not giving up the wt. because it is missing some nutrient...
Nancy: Do you put anything on your popcorn?
I did exercises and biked and swam yesterday. I did 40 laps swimming. Diet was okay. I have been drinking lemonade made with fresh lemons and stevia... I had another egg salad sandwich this am, but I think maybe I should wait a week or two before having another one because of the cholesterol...
I need to make something for lunch and do some exercises.

well I was up another .4 today LOL I only snacked on a small condiment bowl of pretzels
WO yep back at it again today, today was more of a leg day after my cardio
Teri, I don't put anything on the popcorn. I use healthy choice popcorn
Diana, yes it is so frustrating about some foods, if they made me feel bad (other than the scale) I could forgo them.
Tomorrow we have nothing planned but Sunday I am meeting up with my old gym buddies to chat and solve the worlds problems LOL

Good Morning!
Nancy: When I eat popcorn, I can sometimes feel it in my belly. I wonder if it is hard to digest... I got this cheese powder for popcorn at an Amish market...It was pretty good (not low calorie)...I more recenly tried some store bought cheese powder, but I did not like it and threw it out...too salty, etc.
I did exercises, biked and swam yesterday. I think that my diet was okay. I did have a half an Arby's sandwich. I have not been on a scale. I made some soup tonight. I did some of my exercises for today this am.

Good morning
Teri, I continue to be impressed by your swimming. Good for you!! That cheese powder from the Amish market sounds so good to put on popcorn. Don't know where I could find that around here. Maybe google it? Anyway I don't really need it, just sounds good.

Good Morning, Everyone!
I decided to get the Shingrix vaccine on Wednesday. I have a lot going on the next few days and don't need to be under the weather. I don't think I will get a workout in today. We will be decorating the church and I need to do the shopping for the Blessing Box. I will be getting a lot of steps in. On these days I really need to do a Classical Stretch workout to help a bit with toning and stretching.
I also wanted to share that Ms. Connie is not doing well. Please pray for comfort for her.

Hebrews 10:22
Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.
Betty liked having people around. When others watched her, she was more likely to behave herself and stay on her diet. She felt guilty if anyone caught her cheating. A little guilt was a good thing for someone trying to lose weight. When she was alone, she didn't feel nearly as guilty. If she was ever going to lose weight, she was going to have to make sure there were people around. We ought to remember that no matter what we do, God is watching. He can help us on to victory if we will keep in mind that He is ever with us, to act as our conscience when we need Him to.
Today's thought: I hope my conscience is stronger than my appetite!
