Diana, I, too, want to thank you for being so faithful to heading up this thread so that we can be accountable to each other and have the support of each other during our journeys.

Nancy, what long days you will have at the fair! You probably said it, but what is it you'll be doing there again? What will your role be?

I took in 1340 calories yesterday. I did not get to try the recumbent bike yet. Hopefully will get to try that today to see how it goes with my hip.

Today's Plan: 1200-1500 calories, 2 liters water, veggies, fiber, vit/min/calx2 supp., post-op exercises x2, try recumbent bike.

Good Morning, Everyone!

Welcome back, everyone! I can't tell you how much all of this is helpful to me, too. I may not be where I want to be but I know I could be in much worse shape if I didn't stay accountable here.

Nancy I agree, you will be having some really long days.

I met my average step goal for August. Goal is 10,000 + steps.

Steps for yesterday: 11,505
This Morning: Oxycise

Have a Blessed day and stay safe and healthy!

Good morning! Power walked and ran errands this morning. Took the bus to a nearby community to power walk and run errands there. Will go for another power walk and run errands in a few minutes. 😷🍀😁❤️

Default September 2021

Hello!

Thanks again Diana...a new start, a new month!

I biked this afternoon, did wts./stability ball yesterday, and some exercises today. I saw the pool being filled today. I was hoping that it would be open tomorrow, but they say not until next week, making it over 2 1/2 weeks closed.

The bushels were had about 4 inches of rain in them this afternoon. I dumped them and filled up one bushel with weeds. It is much easier to work. It is 10-15 degrees cooler.

Alas, this month has not been too productive for me. I attribute it to a closed swimming pool. I did get a big stack of items returned to the library. And I did a lot of weeding. This month, I want to get back to swimming, reduce the number of potted plants/put some plants in the ground, and work with some primroses. I also need to clean out the fridge. I want to cut back on the amount of food I am buying, because I am wasting too much. I'd like to make some chile an freeze it.

Good evening to all!
WI still up but I know those salt bombs will take a bit before they go away
WO nothing formal but still busy

Had 'training' today, Now you would think they would go over some basic's? Like how to use the POS machine?, or where you should be able to have a quiet lunch?, or how to reach the supervisor if something comes up? Nope, gave us a packet and said to read while she went over on how to give good customer service. After it was all done we watched them try to figure out how to turn the POS practice machine on!. They did go over how you should bundle your cash and fill out a deposit ticket every few hours. I literally had to ask all these questions and they would look at me like 'duh' you should know this just because you have never been inside this building before.
Boy this fair working is going to be a hoot!

Yes I am going to be working some really long hours so not sure how much I will be able to post other than I have every Tuesday off.

Wish me luck, my first day is Friday at 2pm!

Default good morning

Teri, too bad your swimming pool is not open. I admire you for doing that.

Nancy, it'll be interesting to hear (from your perspective) how your job goes . Just post when you can; we know you are going to be super busy starting Friday.

I took in around 1850 calories yesterday. Was just hungry.

Today's Plan: 1200-1500 calories, 2 liters water, veggies, fiber, vit/min/cal supp., post-op exercises.
