Default Good morning

Teri, I had the eagle a number a years ago and only kept it overnight. I transported it to a federally licensed specialist in rapture care. From my understanding the eagle recovered; wing was injured but not fractured in a way which would prevent it from being released when it recovered.

I am eating too much. But my hip is coming along as far as healing. I'm doing pretty well for being two weeks' postop. A friend of mine brought a decadent chocolate cake to me yesterday. I am trying to share it with family and friends, but I have been getting my "share" too . Hang in there with me, chickies. I'm still trying to be accountable.

Today's Plan: 1500 calories, 2 liters water, veggies, fiber, vit/min/cal supp., post-op exercises.

Good Morning!

I biked, swam in the afternoon and wt. lifted, used stability ball in the evening. My workout was really light because I was still feeling tired from doing backstroke.

I ate more soup this am with garlic bread...Slip ups were a "small" frappe and coconut cake yesterday. I have been using my water bottle.

I have seen the Monarch butterfly for 3 days. A family member attributes it to being here because the neighbors have 2 butterfly bushes. But I don't know. The orange butterfly sticks around the orange cosmos flowers and the orange flowers of the butterfly weed. I missed a 12 inch cucumber in the garden. I wish that I had gotten it sooner...

Isaiah 40:1
'Comfort ye, comfort ye my people,' saith your God.

Josh was feeling down and depressed. Nothing seemed to be working out for him. His job was a nightmare, his social life was even worse, and he was lonely. He sat alone and ate. His weight had skyrocketed. He wouldn't eat so much if he had someone to talk to. His main problem was that he just didn't have anything else to do. Often, the most comforting thing we can hope for is someone to spend time with. Company gives us pleasure and takes our mind off eating. It is up to us to find people to spend time with when that is the only reason we sit and stuff ourselves. God sends us comfort in many ways. Seek the comfort of company.

Today's thought: I'm never so tempted to cheat as when I'm alone!

Diana I love your new picture!!!!

WI finally starting to see the scale go back down after a 3lb gain, now it is only a 2lb LOL
WO yes I worked out but did not complete my entire routine that I do when I am on the ball. Just a bit of warm up on the elliptical and then upper body strength....so real cardio today

DH and I are taking off for the weekend to escape some of the heat. Yesterday in my office with closed windows, including sun blocking measures the infrared thermometer still read 97.6 in my office.

Everyone have a great weekend

Colossians 3:15
And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.

Scott was cranky. He had been on a diet for two weeks, and it wasn't getting easier. Now his friends wanted to drag him off to some stupid prayer meeting at the church. Begrudgingly, Scott agreed to go. Before long, his mind was off of food and onto the message the pastor was delivering. Scott got caught up in praying for the needs of others, and he completely forgot about his own hunger. The time passed quickly, and Scott was surprised. His friends just smiled and told Scott that there was a lesson there for him somewhere. When we turn our attention from ourselves to others, great things can happen.

Today's thought: I want to care for others as much as I care about myself!

Good Morning!

Diana: New photo. How nice!
Nancy: I heard about those killer wasps in WA up near CA. Hope that the wildlife authorities can solve the problem.

I biked/swam/wt. lifted/used stability ball. I am done for the week. I am thinking about doing shorter more intense workouts...
I had a couple of pieces of orange creamcycle cake in the past couple of days. And a half a meatball sub spread over 2 meals... I am still using the water bottle.
