USC yes I’ve been in CA my whole life...grew up in Orange County but have been in LA county for 25 years or so now. This state sure has changed

Getting ready to put a chicken cordon blue from Omaha in the oven and steam some broccoli. Will have a couple of glasses of wine tonight. Hoping the scale will be nicer tomorrow!

Default Good morning

Syckgirl, Welcome back!!! So good to see you!!! Thanks for update on things!!!

Teri, what's the latest on your kitties? Thinking about you and them. I CARE and have complete empathy. Please keep us updated.

Yesterday, I met my weight-lifting goals and squats, but not the bike. I did not meet my calorie goal range. Went over at 1670 calories. Ate too many sweets and some high fat casserole. I still want to get down to my weight goal range. So will have to be more diligent.

Today's Plan: 1200-1300 calories, 2 liters water, veggies, fiber, vit/min/cal supp., recumbent bike, 50-60 squats.

Hi!

I biked 40 min last night. Diet was good.

Rachel: My girl cat is doing really well. She is back to normal. My boy is on pain meds and bp meds. I am giving him water and wet food via a syringe. I am worried about him. I wish you were my neighbor. .I treated my last 2 cats for diabetes and feline kidney disease and it has me very worried...The weekend is coming up, I am running out of meds...

morning everyone!! I am in the office today...yay! it feels good LOL, we have our kids back here, all of them now. (we have nursery school and K-6). It's nice to finally hear kids screaming outside my window again Of course, it's because we are a private school...the teachers union (public school) is still refusing to go back to work. I will stop there. No need to start a rant

Scale this morning - 169.6 yuck I really need to be back down around 155. I had ordered a really cute pair of Ariat jeans in a 31 because I figured since I gained wait I needed to size up, but they were too big so the replacement size 30 should come today. It's weird, that's the size I have been wearing (translated to a 10) for like, 20 years. I guess the fit changes slightly with gains and losses, but not enough to size up. Go figure

Menu plan today:

B - carb balance tortilla, grilled chicken breast (3 oz give or take) 160 cals, 24 protein, 19 carbs, 4 fat
L - turkey burger patty, steamed broccoli 194 cals, 22 protein, 13 carbs, 8 fat
snack - I brought an orange
D - so far TBD...
exercise - TBD...maybe take a walk but yesterday's step workout got me as always, so maybe a rest day

Copied from Crosswalk Devotions for Dieters

March 11

Genesis 28:15
And, behold, I am with thee, and will keep thee in all places whither thou goest, and will bring thee again into this land; for I will not leave thee, until I have done that which I have spoken to thee of.

When I was little, I just hated to be alone. I was afraid of being by myself. When my family got a dog, it made my fear go away. There was never a time when I was alone again. Just having some other presence with me made a huge difference. Now that I'm grown up I still have a constant companion who will never leave me alone. That companion is God. No matter what I do, I know I am not alone in the endeavor. My diet is no exception. When I feel the most alone, I just rely on the support of the Lord, and He gives me strength beyond measure.

Today's thought: God helps us to be the best we can be!

Evening all! In bed watching tv and winding down for sleep with a glass of wine

So dinner was an Omaha Steaks breaded pork tenderloin (220 calls) and edamame succotash (110)
had a snack of half a serving of Fritos because in between I got hungry, and no exercise today but I will do another step workout during lunch tomorrow since I am working from home. All in all, pretty good day today as far as food goes! Stayed under 1,000 calories before wine

Default good morning

Ciecie, yay! So happy you are scheduled for the vaccination!!!

Teri, if I were your neighbor, I would help you out with dear boy kitty. I'm so sorry both you and he are struggling like this. Is it kidney failure he has? I'm praying for God's mercy and lovingkindness and guidance on the whole situation.

Usc4valpo, any news after the job interview?

I took in 1325 calories yesterday. Today I am putting on a scrabble luncheon. I will allow myself up to 1800-2000 calories.

Today's Plan: no more than 2000 calories, 2 liters water, veggies, fiber, vit/min/cal supp., 50 squats.
