Headache - ugh
I have a beast of a headache today. Took some tylenol, which took the edge off, but did not take it away.
Ate a healthy lunch - sliced turkey, cherry bombs and mozzarella cheese with fresh basil and olive oil, roasted carrots, 1/2 avocado and 1/2 cup pistachios.
I drank over 100 oz of water today already.
Finished my daily work for my Bible Study
Cleaned my kitchen, made dinner for my husband, and 2 loads of laundry. Also gave my Corgi a bath. I love her to pieces, but she likes to roll in the grass. And sometimes in the stinkiest thing she can find. So now she is clean. At least for today.
OH!!! I went shopping yesterday at Burke's Outlet for some spring pants. And I fit into a size 18!! I bough 3 pair (they were under $10 a pair) One pair is a 16, because I have high hopes! I am SO excited. I have WHITE pants for the summer that look pretty spiffy!!! I love this brand - Attyre. Fits me just right and they are comfortable.
I have a question. Do any of you wrestle with guilt feelings when you eat? Even when it is health food? I've realized that no matter what I put in my mouth, there is always an undercurrent emotionally that declares I should be ashamed of eating. Thinking it comes from my childhood and my Mom, but not really sure. Trying to get at the root so I can chip away at it. In one breath I'm thanking the Lord for the food, and in the next I feel guilty for eating it. It should not be this way.

Good evening! Change, so sorry you had a terrible headache. Power walked to and home from my meeting tonight. Took the long way home. Had supper. My fitness goals for today have been attained. 😁❤️🍀

Morning gang . I felt like I was grazing all day yesterday, consuming 2900 calories. I ate nothing bad and it was healthy pretty much overall, but it was consistent eating. A lot of busy work yesterday to meet a deadline, 11hour daybut I got it done.I did get cardio and treadmill steps in, around 16.5k, so hopefully the metabolism was moving along.
today I meet virtually with USC upcoming and recent engineering graduate about careers and experiences, which should be fun.

I binged again last night before bed. I just grabbed everything that was edible in the fridge. Waking up feeling guilty. Planning to skip breakfast this morning.
I got plenty of exercise yesterday tho. Ok, time to move on. Today is a new sunny day.

Good morning again! Yangtzer, I hope you don’t skip breakfast, It’s the most important meal of the day. I’ve skipped breakfast in the past and always paid for it later on by getting very light headed. I haven’t skipped breakfast in years.🍀😁❤️

Good Morning, Everyone!

This Morning: Oxycise
Calories for yesterday: 1640 +
Weigh In: 195.8

Have a Blessed day and stay safe and healthy!
Copied from Crosswalk Devotions for Dieters
March 3
Matthew 28:20
'teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world.' Amen.
A friend of mine fasts regularly, and to my astonishment, he never complains or seems to be the least bit ruffled by the experience. For myself, I find that fasting changes my whole disposition. I asked him his secret once, and he said, 'It's no secret, really. All I do is pretend that the empty feeling in my stomach is really the Holy Spirit moving around, making itself comfortable inside. That way, the gnawing isn't unpleasant but it's quite comforting to think that God is so very close.' I tried to follow my friend's advice, and it has worked wonders for me. Try it today.
Today's thought: I will let my hunger turn my mind to God!

Yipeeee
For several weeks my scale tormented me. I was at 99 pounds weight loss. No, 98. No 99. No 97. And that is how it went. It would dance around but never hit the goal, I just kept on doing what was right. I knew eventually I'd hit it. And I did a few days ago.
Now I'm on a streak! Lost 2 more pounds this morning. Hallelujah.
216 - ONEderland is getting closer. And I am elated!!

Change4life, that is amazing!! Yes, I think it stems from unhealthy relationships with food period. The Holy Spirit shows us our attitude about food still is not right.
Yangtze, I'm going to have to agree to skip breakfast because that gives your body time to digest and maybe the gain won't be that bad. its just like IF. Im sorry you felt vulnerable and lapsed.. do you have a support person like this group but more accessible
Yay Diana. That hard work is paying off.
USC, that metabolism is probably roaring hot.
Ciecie, interesting that you get light headed. I know people that do OMAD, IF or just black coffee and they seem ok. Everyone is different though.
So today I am at 186.4. Nice to see a consistent drop. I have not been eating all my points either though. My muscle mass dropped a little but SO DID my body fat.
I need to do some weights to keep up muscle mass which burns more fat anyways.
