Good Morning, Everyone!
Steps for yesterday: 7,695
This Morning: Oxycise
I am going to take a break from weighing for now. I have really been thinking about my struggles with my eating. I know what my issues are and I have been praying about these situations. I would appreciate prayers for me with my struggles.
Have a Blessed day and stay safe and healthy! Have a great start to your week!
Copied from Crosswalk Devotions for Dieters
March 15
2 Corinthians 5:6
Therefore we are always confident, knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord.
David had never been able to stick to a diet. He had tried a number of times, but nothing seemed to help him lose weight. Then he met Jennifer. She was cute, and friendly, and thin. David was suddenly more ashamed of the way he looked than he had ever been before. He began a new diet, and this one worked. David's whole personality changed. He gained a new confidence and strength of will. What we struggle with at one point becomes easy when we receive the right incentive. With God as our incentive, we can do wonders. Without God, we are helpless. With God, we can do all things.
Today's thought: I will make sure to keep God close by all day!

Still here
Good morning!
Just completed 15 minutes of fat burning workout.
Plan to add an additional 5 minutes when I don't feel like I'm dying after 15.

But I plan to do 15 minutes 3X a day.
Except for walking, I have not done real "exercising" for a long time.
Ate healthy over the weekend, with the exception of my 1 allowed cheat meal.
Kept up 18+ hours of fasting every day.
Had an emotional weekend - special needs son was in meltdown mode most of the weekend. He doesn't live with me, but his caregiver called me at midnight Friday not knowing what to do. Reminds me why he doesn't live with me any more. It still is effecting me today. Keep us in your prayers. I am concerned that he is going to try to run away. This is extremely dangerous with autism and type 1 diabetes and mental health issues. He is very out of sorts. And it is everyone else's fault (including mine...well, especially mine)
Enough of that.
My verse for today:
"Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:9

morning all!
I wrote a really good, detailed post on Saturday on my iPad and it took me longer than usual so it timed out, then it was gone. I didn't have it in me to post after that! No change in Scale. Drank some wine this weekend and also had a few shots so water weight is a given, but will try to do another step workout today while working from home. My right ankle sort of hurts from Saturdays 8 mile bike ride and I'm guessing it's from the heavy wind along the L.A. river trail. We'll see.
Teri most of my post was about cats LOL, but yes, I had a tortie. Sweet but very quirky girl. Right now we have a crew of 3 black kitties...we rescued two of them from the local shelter last year after two losses One is a tuxedo named Devon with an extra toe on every paw, and the fronts are split like he has thumbs (looks like he is wearing mittens) and it's so ridiculously adorable! I swear he is part human, too. The other is Valentina (I call her TeeTee or Tina, though) and she's all black with a tiny white spot on her chest and some white on her belly. We got Devon in July and Tina in November, and they love each other so much it was the best thing we could have done! We still have one of our other cats from the last crew, a 4 year old black cat named Maggie. Devon was 1 yr and 4 months when we got him (now 2) and Tina was 1 yr and 1 month. So we basically have two kittens running around here all the time They've sure livened the place up! We got used to have mostly senior cats over the last 5 years or so.
okay so far this morning just coffee...menu planned below:
B - strawberry greek yogurt and mixed nuts
L - last of leftover cauliflower spaghetti (add chicken for protein or pork chop)
the rest is TBD - also heard gyms may be opening soon but it doesn't look like ours is yet

so I did have my cauliflower pasta spaghetti (sautéed on stove in avocado oil spray since we are no longer using the microwave!) 3 ounces of canned chicken breast added. Now I am going to do my 30 minute step workout . then back to work so I'll check back later with dinner results. Everyone have a great day ahead!!!

Good Evening!
Syck: Thanks for sharing your sweet kitties with us. My tortie point has a little white spot on her forehead...like a third eye. She is a very smart cat.
CieCie: Sounds like you are doing great with the shot...
Change: I've got this image of you doing exercise 3x per day. It can not have been easy for you: a kid with diabetes, autism, etc.
I injured my knee yesterday. I attribute it to eating too much inflammatory type food and doing some lunges... Anyway, I sort of biked 40 minutes. Most of the time, I only moved 90 degrees going backwards and forwards with no resistance. I figure that a little exercise is better than none, and I do not want the knee to freeze up. I do not think it is a serious injury, but you never know...

The thought of that image is frightening, HAHA.
I only managed twice. But it is better than none!

Evening chicks! Burned 375 calories doing a 40 minute step workout with Jenny Ford during lunch today. I am so excited I was told my gym will be OPEN tomorrow! We just have to use the app to reserve a block of time first. I’m going tomorrow after I get home from work if there’s still a slot left when DH gets home from his walk.
Dinner was so good grilled chicken breast and melted Boarshead horseradish cheddar on a grilled carb balance tortilla w/light sour cream. Also some steamed broccoli.
I guess that’s it for today. A little wine before bed and maybe some popcorn if hungry. See you tomorrow everyone!
