Terri, giving Lysine is very beneficial, it could be FHV with complications. Im so sorry kitty is sick, I pray he gets better and is able to bound happily again!

Syck, interesting about your jeans, great job on your aerobics and weights.

Diana, you are consistently going down this time!

Ciecie, days i dont want to do a walk i think about how consistent you are

Change, that sounds uncomfortable. I pray for peace during your surgery and a quick speedy recovery

Usc, what about the results of the interview?

Rachel, thank you for being encouraging, sounds like you are doing great with maintenance every time you post

I have been doing great following ww. Its enough structure that it keeps me honest and not so restrictive I want to cheat.

I am down to 186 and I was 188 right before i ovulated,, so im seeing pms gain as well.. i also lost 19 inches and 5 lbs since starting ww. I know its not alot of weight loss, but my body has been recompositioning.

Emotionally, im up and down.. my ex married that woman last weekend. Ran off with her. This is her 3rd marriage and I dont think she divorced the one she ran off and married in Vegas.

I did background checks on her through paid websites. I still don't like her at all but now I got to deal with my kids calling her step mom.

He is a mess. A few months before marrying her he was professing his love to me....I dont even know what to think.. the Bible talks about handing people over to Satan to really get a beating.. his drinking isn't any better from what i saw...so I guess ill just have to deal with it and pray God protects my children..

In the meantime,, im looking for a place to move,, could use your prayers for that.

Good Morning, Everyone! Happy Friday!

Jen I'm so sorry about the stress about your ex.

Steps for yesterday: 10,348
This Morning: Oxycise

Calories for yesterday: 1370 +
Weigh In: 194.4
No change (I had too much sodium last night so no change is good.)

Have a Blessed day and stay safe and healthy!

March 12

2 Chronicles 15:2
'. . .The Lord is with you, while ye be with him; and if ye seek him, he will be found of you; but if ye forsake him, he will forsake you.'

In this day and age, promises are made easily and just as easily broken. We promise ourselves that we are going to lose weight, then we turn around and cheat at every possible chance. For this reason, we ought to include God in our diets. Whereas we might break promises that we make to ourselves, we stand a much better chance of keeping the promises we make to God. When we break promises to ourselves, we have no one to answer to, but when we break our promises to God, He expects us to explain. Promising God that we will lose weight makes dieting much easier.

Today's thought: I will lose weight for God's sake!

good morning!

Jen so great you're still around! Your measurements going down like that is fantastic! I might be at point where I need to do WW or something like it...age you know I used to be able to drop 10 pounds fast and now 1 is hard are you just counting points or do you get food delivery?

Nothing yet today...about to drink my coffee while computer finishes updating windows. Everything is running so slow because of this update! Working from home today and from my bay window where I sit the sun is shining and it looks amazing out there! Probably go for a walk later but still want to do step workout during lunch. Cold today, the high is only going to be 55 :cold:

Not sure about breakfast yet - need to go shopping! I'll make some kind of egg white omelet though. Back in a bit!

So I did make an egg white omelet for breakfast - with half a cup of homemade chili (ground beef and bean) and a bunch of spinach. Topped with Herdez red sauce and a tbsp of light sour cream.

it was totally drool-worthy! I am going to do a step workout with Jenny Ford in about 20 minutes. Back later for lunch!

Aaaaaah! just finished lunch, which was a piece of sourdough toast, can of tuna w/mayo and relish, and a couple tortilla chips (to finish the tuna that didn't fit on the toast) BIG protein boost...32 grams.

Before that I did a 40 minute step workout in the living room which was a 365 calorie burn...good stuff!

Trying to concentrate on work today and not doing the best job at it... most likely going to call it a day a bit early, maybe around 3. Unless I get my groove back!

Hi

SckGirl: Welcome back. Hope you have lots of success here. Didn't you have a tortie cat?

I have acquired a tortie point while you were gone...//Your diet sounds really healthy/really "Californian"!

Rachel, Jen: The vet squeezed me in today and I have more meds for my cat. They are very optimistic. Think he has FLUTD (lower urinary tract disease). I need to figure out ways to get my cat to drink more....

Jen: I am thinking about you....

No exercise yesterday. Maybe tonight. Diet okay. I have been eating tuna and my cats have gotten a little tuna juice and water (not too much, because it lacks stuff cats. need.)

Default Good morning

Teri, some cats can be persnickity about their water. I do know that some like it to be fresh and filled to the brim of the bowl. Also some like it to be running water (like the wild cats drinking from a stream of water.....hence fresh, not stagnant water). Once I needed to use one of those electric flowing water deals for a kitty. It circulates and filters the water; it's always fresh. You can get them at pet stores. That might help. I'm so glad they found something definite about boy kitty! Thank the Lord! It sounds hopeful!

I took in 1700 calories yesterday, as planned. I will try to get in some exercise today.

Today's Plan: 1500 calories, 2 liters water, veggies, fiber, vit/min/cal supp, recumbent bike, sit-ups, 50 squats.

Proverbs 1:33
But whoso hearkeneth unto me shall dwell safely, and shall be quiet from fear of evil.

Jesus faced many terrible experiences in His lifetime. The Bible tells of many incidents where crowds of people sought to kill our Lord. Whenever the pressures got too great, Jesus withdrew and spent time in prayer. That is an important lesson for us to learn. There will be times when the pressures build up while we try to lose weight. When the pressures get too much for us to handle, we should turn to the Lord in prayer. He will comfort us, strengthen us, and give us the courage we need to face every new day.

Today's thought: Jesus will take my mind off my diet!
