Made it through the day, did a little exercise and now chilling out with a beer chilled outside where it’s 8 deg. Ready for some soup, some hobby action, some meditation and go to bed.

Default Good morning

Usc4valpo, I continue to admire your workouts. It seems you are able to counter the effects of too many chips that way?

Jen, thanks for your encouraging comments .

I was able to leave a message on an answering machine regarding signing up my parents for COVID vaccine. So that's a step in the right direction. Now, just have to wait for them to eventually get back to me.

I took in 1450 calories yesterday, but did not meet my exercise goals. I do plan to go through a drive-through for lunch today with a friend so I will allow up to 1800 calories.

Today's Plan: up to 1800 calories, 2 liters water, veggies, fiber, cal/vit/min supp.

Good Morning, Everyone!

I went to bed late last night but was able to sleep in this morning. I can really tell a difference when I don't get enough sleep. If I have to wake early I need to make sure I go to bed earlier. I keep saying this but . . . .

Last night: Basic stretches, steps for yesterday: 10,019
This Morning: Oxycise

Calories for yesterday: 1330 +
Weigh In: 193.8
Down: 1 pound

Have a Blessed day and stay safe and healthy.

Copied from Crosswalk Devotions for Dieters

February 10

Revelation 21:7
He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.

Being thin is a wonderful goal. Regaining health and vigor is also great. Looking and feeling good are important, but both pale in comparison with how good it is to please the Lord by being the best people we can be. When we diet, we not only gain physically, but also spiritually. Resisting temptation tones our spiritual being as well as dieting tones our physical being. When we reach our goal in our diet, we reach a second goal, as well: We do what is pleasing to God. When we are faithful to do the will of the Lord, we can rest assured that we have an eternal home with Him.

Today's thought: Dieting makes me a spiritual overcomer as well as a physical overcomer!

Rachel - I think that helps, but it doesn’t mean I can go crazy on munching away and assume sufficient exercise will completely accommodate that. I like the exercise because it is so therapeutic for the body and mind.

Jen - what single digits or below zero outside, the beer is below icy cold but fortunately not at a slushy state. An IPA in the 20s feels great at the end of the day!

so far I have 600000 steps and ahead of my 5000000step goal for the year. I might see a physician to determine how much more weight I should lose.

Good Evening!

I biked/wt. lifted early, early this am. I am glad that I finally got it done. Diet okay except small sundae and half a mini quiche. Oh, I shoveled snow 2 days ago and I shoveled snow today...We are supposed to have a big snow tonight and I have somewhere to go. Ugh!

Did you read about the girl who sprayed her hair with gorilla glue? I hope her skin/hair are okay after she finally gets rid of the glue. It sounded like nothing was working to remove it....I guess you could call her Lady GooGoo or GlueGlue...

Rachel, yay, im glad things are moving in right direction.

Diana, yeah! That pound down. They are good. My youngest loves them.

Usc, iPa? Beer slushy...I never thought of that...a wine slushy...yummy. ..id probably fall out and freeze to death outside somewhere ..alcohol and I have issues.

Terri, you burned the sundae off

Ciecie, I did my morning worship workout again, thought of how you do Leslie Sansone every day. I have no idea where my worship ribbon sticks went, but I decided I was going to substitute a stick and throw my hand around as if I had the ribbon.

People working on the house down the street probably had a good show.

1 lb up today. Arborleaf showed increased muscle and lower fat though. Im SLOWLY increasing my water.

Might fill the gallon jug up 1/2 way and try to get it gone tomorrow.

Took power sleep pm and py brain is feeling slightly mushy now...goodnight
