Jendiet, don’t blame you for not liking cigarette smoke. My dad smoked for many years. He became very aware of the smell after he quit. Did 2 miles Leslie Sansone this morning. Will go for a power walk and run errands in a few minutes. 😁❤️🥶

Jen - as a former cigar smoker who quit in 2002, I feel for you that the smoke simply is annoying. Not sure why I got into that habit other than I hung around with morons.
I did my 30 min cardio, and trying to figure out what the right weight is for me. I feel great but now I get more hungry than I did in the past. averaging 2500 cal intake per day, but averaging 17k steps with includes cardio and resistance. Looking for the formula to be sustainable.

Rachel it sure is fascinating. Now all I need is some Bluetooth ear buds and I can sit and listen to my heart beat.
Hope I don't get hacked. "roflmao"

Unfortunately ours does not. I am not aware of any family Doctors in our area with the shots. Our governor controls distribution and right now only health care workers, nursing homes, and senior citizens 65 or older can be given the vaccine.
I am 76 and my wife is 75 so we can get it once I am able to get her an appointment. The first time the vaccine was available the county health department opened a call in registration. They were overwhelmed with 30,000 call attempts during the first second. Not minute not hour but the first second. It is not much better because the state gets only a limited supply from the federal government each week.

Hi Everyone!
I was out at lunch time and had something heavier. I had the yogurt and fruit for dinner. No sure what will happen with the sodium.
Larry Our Governor is heading everything up, too. Our Dr. is an Internist. I didn't know that they were getting them either. It's funny how I found out. I went to the Endocrinologist. She knows our Internist. I guess they live close to each other. Our Endo talked with their neighbor and the neighbor said that they heard our Internist had the vaccine. So my Endo told me about it. DH has a compromised immune system. I called the Internist and the staff confirmed that they had the vaccination. They told me to go online to register for DH and I did. I received an email from CDC to register him and to set up an appointment. I did and he has an appointment on Monday. He is not of the age but he has a lot of health issues. I'm not sure what's going to happen on Monday. They might reject him.

Good morning! NYS also controls the distribution of the COVID shots. You have to make an appointment through their website. Have heard it’s a royal pain to do from friends who have had to do it. The major plus is that you do have the choice where you can go to get it. 😁❤️❤️

Good morning
Larry, I am so happy that you are scheduled for a COVID vaccination!! Now to get your wife your signed up too!!
I'm not doing so well on staying within my calorie goal range this week. I took in 1700 calories yesterday & did not get exercise in that I had planned. That's pretty much the way it's been for this week. I don't feel very motivated. It's a new day.
Today's Plan: 1200-1400 calories, 2 liters water, veggies (need to chop some up), fiber, cal/vit/min supp., recumbent bike, stretching, sit-ups.

February 6
1 Corinthians 10:13
There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.
There are going to be times when we feel like throwing up our hands and saying, 'I just can't do it!' Dieting is not easy. Don't let anyone tell you that it is. We wouldn't need to diet if we could eat what we wanted when we wanted it. But know this: God will make sure we can hang on, if we include Him in our diet attempts. He knows how hard it is and how much we struggle. No matter how tempted we might be, He will help us escape it.
Today's thought: There is a way to beat every temptation!
