Good Morning, Everyone!

DH has a Dr's appointment today and it will take up most of the day. Tonight is church. Not sure about a workout.

SharnaaES Hi and welcome to the check-in.

Teri He is a dual purpose dog, LOL. He is DH's hunting buddy and my "baby".

Last night: Basic stretches, steps for yesterday: 4,947
This Morning: Oxycise

Calories for yesterday: 1180 +
N*W*I

Have a Blessed day and stay safe and healthy.

John 16:33
'These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.'

Sometimes we just get tired of dieting. It takes a lot of energy to diet, and without the foods we love, we're sometimes too weak to fight any longer. Our diets become bigger and bigger burdens. If we're not careful, we can lose sight of the fact that our diet won't last forever. All things come to an end if we will only be patient enough to wait. It helps to remember the temptations of Christ; how He triumphed over them, and then, before long, how they ended. Dieting is not punishment, but discipline. Though it can be a tribulation, losing weight carries with it a special joy.

Today's thought: As the fat fades, so does the tribulation!

Good morning! Took the bus to a neighboring community yesterday morning. Power walked and ran errands there all day. One of the things I took care of was filing my taxes. Had lunch at Panera. Will be shutting down in a few minutes to go to bed. 😁❤️🥶

Hello everyone!
Just got back from dropping my daughter off at daycare and did some shopping.
Had a banana for breakfast, going to do some yoga in a bit (after some cleaning)

Yesterday I got to 8,129 steps and 1,220 calories
Will be weighing myself every sunday from now on, hoping to reach that 1lb a week.

Default Good morning

SharnaaES, to our wonderful group! The journey is easier when one has a group like this for support, encouragement, and to be accountable to. Take it one day at a time. Share your victories and struggles. Looking forward to getting to know you!

I took in 1700 calories yesterday. Not feeling very motivated to exercise. Kind of struggling.....one of my dear sweet kitties passed away yesterday. She'd had incurable health problems for a few years and it was finally time. Although, I firmly believe I will see her again in Heaven, my emotions are still sad for now. Also I kind of tripped over my Mom and Dad's cat (I did not fall) and wretched my bad hip. So am feeling that. Makes me think i'm closer to the reality that I eventually need to get it replaced. Thanks for listening, my chick and rooster friends.

Today's Plan: 1500 calories, 2 liters water, veggies, fiber, vit/min/cal supp., stretches, sit-ups.

Romans 16:20
And the God of peace shall bruise Satan under your feet shortly.

I remember going to a cafeteria with my friend once while I was on a diet. I told my friend that I was only going along to keep him company, but that I wouldn't eat anything. Once there, however, I was drawn to a particular piece of German chocolate cake. I debated with myself for the longest time, then finally gave in and went to the counter to buy it. On my way back to my seat, I turned too quickly, and the cake fell from my tray to the floor, where I proceeded to step on it. I always felt that perhaps God was trying to teach me something. The source of my temptation did indeed end up under my feet!

Today's thought: Food wasted is better than food waisted!

Hello!

I have had a stressfull day yesterday, and the stress is still going. I am a stress eater so it's very difficult for me to keep away from the snacks today.
I also gained some weight (but I am ok with fluctuating in the start).

Calories yesterdayt: 1350 (ate pizza at night, due to my high stress)
Steps yesterday: 11554

About to stress eat an apple and have a tea. Maybe when everything is sorted I can do some yoga to calm myself down.
