2 Chronicles 16:9
For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him. Herein thou has done foolishly: therefore from henceforth thou shalt have wars.
My grandfather always said to me, 'You plant your field, you have to harvest it.' We made ourselves overweight, and we either have to live with it or work to change it. It is foolishness to overindulge, but that doesn't stop us from doing it. Anyone who is overweight knows well that we have to pay for our foolishness. True wisdom comes from God. When we decide that enough is enough, that it is time to lose weight, we can know God will help us, especially through the toughest times. All we need do is ask. God is looking for ways to help us, but He always waits until His help is invited. Don't hesitate. Call upon the Lord, and He will hear you.
Today's thought: If we turn from our foolishness, God will bless us!
Good morning again! Teri, my new tub doesn’t come with jets. My neighbor and plumber said it would be a lot of extra piping. I told him that I don’t need a fancy tub so I chose basic tub that’s made by Kohler. Will be going for a power walk and run errands in a few minutes. Laundry should be done by the time I get home. 😁❤️
DH wanted to go out for Mexican food for dinner. I ate a salad but also had some chips, no salsa. The sodium in salsa is even worse for me than the chips. But I know I ate too many.

I also forgot to mention that yesterday I also lifted some weights for my biceps.
Today is a new day! I woke feeling better this morning. I feel a bit more rested and less brain fog. I have been feeling really rough on the prednisone. Today is my last day.

John 12:46
'I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness.'
When we feel bad about ourselves, we tend to dwell under a dark cloud of depression. Sometimes we can't think of anything else but how much weight we've gained and how much we would like to lose. The good news is that darkness always is replaced by light. We can get out from under the burden of our weight. We can change for the better. Our Lord is a liberator. He frees us from anything that oppresses us. Obesity is oppressing, and God is ready and willing to free us. No darkness is too great for God to dispel. No matter how dark and dismal our physical condition may be, in the light of Christ, we can trim down.
Today's thought: We always look better in God's light than in our own darkness.
Good morning! No work was done on my bathroom yesterday. Tim, the contractor, took the day off because he had a dentist appointment. Scott, the plumber, took the day off to go visit his mother-in-law with his wife. Scott’s mother-in-law is recovering from COVID. Will have breakfast in a few minutes. Will go for a power walk and run errands after that.😁❤️🍾
CieCie: At the end of the day, I really like getting a very hot shower...
I biked 40 and did a little wt. lifting, too last night. Diet a bit off today with some brownies...I have been eating some ramen with carrots and part of a packet of some Indian sauce. I finally repackaged my ground beef and chicken and froze it...
It is snowing, snowing here. It looks like maybe a couple of inches has fallen. Not really the type of weather to be going up and down hills...
It has been a rather up and down few days here. My youngest tested positive for covid. She works in a retirement home and thinks she got it there. Thankfully her 4 yr old and husband are so far in the clear. Her biggest complaint was the loss of smell and taste but she knew she was getting better when she could smell her deodorant LOL, that and the mucus
WI still about the same range 165-167 but I do see more days lower than higher which is a change
WO not much, I am walking almost everyday for an hour
Diana so wonderful to hear surgery went fine and home safe and sound ....along with some mexican food hehe
ciecie, enjoy that new tub, take a long soak
Rachel, yeah for some veggie prep! I need to concentrate on that this week
Teri ,nope you can't ride in the snow but maybe a slow walk and enjoy the quietness?
Ciecie, I hope your bath will be installed soon! We have an old footed tub. Has to be over a hundred years old. Will some painting be done on your walls? If so, what color?
Well, yesterday I did not meet most of my goals. Met only getting in veggies and fiber. Need to be more focused. New day.

Psalm 37:18
The Lord knoweth the days of the upright: and their inheritance shall be for ever.
God honestly does know what we suffer through when we try to lose weight. He sympathizes with us in all our suffering, but He can also see the prize that awaits us. He knows the inheritance that is to come. Even when we have difficulty keeping our eyes focused on the goal, we can turn to God, who will strengthen us by His own strength. He always sees us as what we can potentially be: slim, trim, and healthy. It is important for us to try to see ourselves the same way God sees us. Remember, once weight is lost, the struggle is not completely over, but we need not ever return to obesity. The fruits of our labors, our inheritance, can last forever.
Today's thought: God wants to see us achieve our goal!
Good morning again! Hopefully, my new bathroom will be installed tomorrow or Tuesday. Painting will definitely be done! It will be sort of off white. That was the color it was before the work started.🍾😁❤️
