Good Morning!
Larry: I used to buy these goldfinch feeders. The holes for the thistle seed would be put under the perch, so the birds would hang upside down to get the seed. Otherwise, the bigger finches like the purple finches would gobble up most of the seed. The gold finches drop a lot of seed, so the seed gets shared anyway. The seed you buy is supposed to be "treated", so it doesn't grow thistles...
Rachel: I think that new show All Creatures Great and Small is to begin in early January on Masterpiece Theatre (Sunday nights?
I had this Hawaiian bread stuffing I liked, so I went out and bought more. I am going to try making it with a little EVOO and see if it tastes okay... Otherwise I may leave out the butter or margarine and add just a little before eating. I have been eating some cherries (from a can) with a little whipped cream and butter pecan ice cream. Not exactly diet food. I have another can. Maybe the next time, I will learn to make a low fat cherry crisp...without crust.
Welcome Risha and Beulah!
I am eating too much fatty food. I have been having some small strips from a rectangular taco pizza I bought at Sam's Club. It tastes pretty good, but I think I liked the rectangular smoked BBQ chicken pizza from Aldi's better...I need to eat a small salad before I consume pizza.
I walked yesterday. I walked at dusk and people in the neighborhood had already put up Christmas lights. It was pretty.
I did 2 hours of gardening. It was in the forties, but it was okay for deadheading plants and moving pots around.
Today or tomorrow is the last day of nice weather? I think it is supposed to rain outside tomorrow, so after I eat, I really need to get out and take care of some potted plants. I am not in the mood, but I will feel better when it is finished.

Good afternoon! Power walked and ran errands this morning. Power walked to and home from lunch. Ran errands on the way home. Came home and took one load of laundry out of the dryer and put another load in the dryer. LarryH, The Bills have got a shot at The AFC East Title this year!😁❤️🦃🍁

Hi Everyone!
I fell off the wagon tonight. I did Ok for breakfast and lunch but dinner went off the rails. I indulged in leftovers, cake, etc. It's gone now. I have been struggling since vacation. I did get a 5 mile walk in with Leslie Sansone. Tomorrow is a new day.
Have a Blessed evening!

Good Morning (early)!
Keep coming back new people!
I did 2 1/2 hours of gardening yesterday. Last night I went for a walk at dusk. Someone has these new holiday lights that look like icicles dripping. It is really pretty.
Diet is about the same. I opened up a box of Cheerios. I have been eating off a veggie tray. It is really good for me to have something like that at hand.

Good morning
Teri, thank you for heads up about All Creatures starting maybe in January on Masterpiece on Sunday nights!!! I'll make time for that.
Diana, I feel for you!! Sometimes it's so hard to get back into the groove. But look at the walking you've put in!! That is fantastic, Diana!! Hang in there, my friend; you've still got this.
Yesterday I met my exercise goals and the others, except for keeping in calorie range. I'm struggling with that. I took in about 1800. I'm just over my maintenance weight goal. Would LIKE to get to the lower range of that and keep it there!
Today's Plan: 1200-1500 calories, 2 liters water, veggies, fiber, calcium, vit/min supp, situps, leg press for weights, recumbent bike.

Psalms 150:6
Let every thing that hath breath praise the Lord. Praise ye the Lord.
The battle wasn't won yet, but Henry felt it was close. He looked better, felt better, and had a more positive attitude. Life was so much more fun, now that he was thinner. All the really hard times were behind him, and he felt his future was pretty bright. God had certainly been good to him. Every day, Henry took time out to thank God for all He had done. Henry didn't know what he'd done to deserve such great blessings, but he wasn't going to question it too much. With God's help, he had been able to do what he could never do before: lose weight!
Today's thought: God's helping me be both lighter of body and lighter of spirit!
