Good Morning, Everyone!
Rachel Yes, he would still have the neuropathy. But he is now on medication for the neuropathy and rheumatoid arthritis. Neither of these have improved any of his pain levels. Hopefully the surgery will help and maybe he can reduce/eliminate the other meds since they didn't help. I have always had slightly elevated cholesterol until I started taking a fiber supplement. I started the fiber supplement due to issues with constipation. When I went for my labs my cholesterol was in a normal range. That was the first. The only change I made was the fiber supplement. I told the Dr. and she said the fiber is what made the difference with my cholesterol so I have continued to take it.
Last night: Basic stretches
This morning: Oxycise
Calories for yesterday: 1850 +
Weigh In: 190.4
No Change (too many calories yesterday)
Have a Blessed day and stay safe and healthy.

Matthew 2:10
When they saw the star, they rejoiced with exceeding great joy.
The star was the sign to the wise men that they were near their journey's end. They had followed the signs of the times, and they had been led toward Bethlehem. The star shone its light on their way, and they came to the Christ child. As we diet, we can follow the light of Christ in our own lives. Christ shines His light on us to remind us of all we can be. His strength supports us along the way, and we come to possess His joy as we succeed in our quest. Nothing can keep the light of Christ from us, and, with Christ's help, nothing can keep us from losing weight.
Today's thought: If God can lead travelers to the east to find Jesus, then he can lead me to a slimmer, trimmer me!

Good day to all
No WI today, was feeling puffy and did not need to confirm that with a number on the scale
WO completed two of them, one more low impact cardio the other strength training.
Well just heard from my brother, he thinks he may have been exposed to covid, and the past few days showing signs of flu like symptoms. He went to be tested this am and they will call if positive. So we as a family made the decision to stay in our homes this holiday. So I just spent about 30 minutes breaking down the turkey to eat in much smaller increments LOL. So maybe I will be making some ground turkey with my new meat grinder when it gets here?
Diana I am sorry to hear about DH and hopefully treatment and surgery brings him some relief. You on the other hand congratulations on your cholesterol
Teri that is a great story! and Larry nailed it with the song choice!
ok back later

Good morning
Teri, this morning very early there were a possum, a raccoon, a skunk and a stray kitty outside waiting for some food! What a menagerie! Of course, they had a nice breakfast then . I love critters.
I was just plain hungry yesterday. I took in 1680 calories. Also got a few miles in on the recumbent bike. Hip tolerated it pretty well. Today I see the ortho doc.
Today's Plan: 1200-1500 calories, 2 liters water, veggies, fiber, calcium, vit/min supp, some arm weights.

Jonah 3:10
And God saw their works, that they turned from their evil way; and God repented of the evil, that he had said that he would do unto them; and he did it not.
Kent was devastated. The police review board had said he would be relieved of active duty if he didn't take off twenty pounds. He was a good cop. How could a few pounds make that much difference? Being a policeman was the most important thing in his life. If losing weight was what was required, then that's what he would do; no two ways about it. God wants us to do whatever it takes to take care of ourselves. When we do what is right, we escape the bad consequences that come along. Kent knew what he had to do, and he did it. We know what we need to do, and with God's help we, too, will succeed.
Today's thought: It's always a good idea to do what is pleasing to God!

I have a crustless, sugar free pumpkin pie in the oven for Thanksgiving. I do 100% of the cooking at home and I am cooking a full Thanksgiving dinner that my wife will enjoy. I on the other hand I will stay Keto and limit myself to turkey, asparagus and possibly a Keto dessert.
My DW is type 2 diabetic and for 11 months now I have been tracking all of her food. She is a junk food junkie so I have been creative redoing recipes to be sugar free and reduced carbohydrates. She fought tooth an nail at first but is now firmly committed to eating better. The results? Before we started this her bloods sugar readings were frequently over 200 and her A1C was over 8. Not good. In the spirit of tough love I would remind her that it would not be me who would start having body parts amputated if she did not change, Now she rarely has a blood sugar above 150 and is usually closer to 100. At our recent primary care doctor visit her A1C was 5.7. Our doctor was amazed and said 5.7 is the dividing line when you are no longer considered diabetic. DW had some of her diabetic medicines discontinued by the doctor and blood sugars continue to be great!

Good Evening!
Larry: I listened to that squirrel song you mentioned. Pretty funny. Wish you could cook for me, too.
Rachel: What a menagerie...
I did a little spading today, digging up more creeping bellflowers. And I finally planted some daffodils someone gave me a few months ago...I hope more bellflowers don't come up in that area. I am glad I got something done. I should have done a lot more.
Diet not-to-good. We went to get food at Boston Market and they were all out of everything...I really need to get back to working out regularly.
