Good Morning, Everyone!

Have a Blessed day and stay safe and healthy. Have a great start to your week!
Copied from Crosswalk Devotions for Dieters
November 23
Matthew 13:45-46
'Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a merchant man, seeking goodly pearls: Who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had, and bought it.'
A diet that worked! It wasn't anything fancy. It wasn't anything expensive. It didn't involve equipment or special treatments. In fact, it was a diet that anyone could do. Sally sat and talked with her pastor for about an hour, and he helped her see why she should diet for her own good, as well as for God. Her pastor has been a support for her ever since, and she has included God every step of the way. She feels stronger than ever before. It is like finding a treasure. She was so excited and so thankful. God has given her something that no one else can: a better figure and a deep, abiding joy.
Today's thought: My weight will be lost, no matter the cost!

Good morning/afternoon to all
Eh WI pretty sad what a weekend of poor choices can do to one....it is that evening snacking I need to reign in
WO about 60 min of cardio. did 3 different video's so not sure on the time part
Rachel hope your annual went well today!
So I have been looking around and decided to buy a meat grinder. I am so tired of paying 4x $ for ground chicken or turkey breast when I can by the protein whole for so much less. I am excited for the machine to get here. I do not have a kitchen aid mixer where you can buy an attachment so I purchased a stand alone machine. Not the most expensive but not the cheapest either. I have been watching a lot of youtube video's on the process and have that down in my head. Now it is a matter of spices to mix with the ground protein. DH loves hot italian sausage so it is a matter of getting the spice blend right. I don't think I will make the actual sausages though.
Have any of you ever ground your own meat? Would love any tips or tricks

Good Evening!
Nancy: I enjoyed seeing your mandalas and other pictures! Thanks for sharing...
Larry: I like seeing your feeders. I used to feed the birds. It attracted a lot of squirrels. I had this humane trap. Once I was taking a squirrel across the river, and it got loose in my station wagon. It literally was bouncing off the walls. I was so freaked out. When I got across the river, I opened the windows and out flew the squirrel! I don't know what people thought who were driving behind me...
My mom had this nurse who had a pet squirrel. When her mom moved into a nursing home, she left the squirrel at the nursing home. When the patients sat outside, the squirrel would come right up next to them...
I have heard that squirrels migrate really far distances and remember where the oak trees are...
I have been a little remiss.

You made me laugh. The mental picture of the squirrel loose in your station wagon made me think of the "Mississippi Squirrel Revival" a song by American country music singer Ray Stevens" If you have not heard it search and listen to it. I am sure you will laugh

Hi Everyone!
DH had an appointment with a hand specialist today. I had all of his recent reports, tests, x-rays, etc sent to this Dr. He went over the nerve study with us and we found out he has severe neuropothy in his hands as well as carpel tunnel. We were not told from the Neurologist that he had severe neuropothy in his hands. We knew it was in his feet. Neither of us care for the neurologist so, in time we might be finding a different Dr. for that. I think he has met his deductible so if he is going to have carpel tunnel surgery, now might be the time to get it.

Good morning
Hah! Larry, you nailed it exactly!! When the image of the squirrel loose inTeri's vehicle was in my mind, I also thought of Mississipi"s Squirrel Revival !!
Diana, ewwwww on your poor DH's hands. I hope that he can have the surgery soon and that it'll be a big help. He'll still have the neuropathy though?
I took in 1260 calories yesterday. My annual doctor visit was uneventful, hopefully. Still waiting for cholesterol results. I am on Pravastatin for that.
Today's Plan: 1200-1500 calories, 2 liters water, veggies, fiber, calcium, vit/min supp, situps, will try recumbent bike.
