October 2020
Good Evening!
Thanks again Diana, for starting a new thread.
CieCie: I am thinking of you and you facing eye surgery...
Nancy: Work can be so stressful...When I was young, I could not envision what people go through... Oh, how is the air...
Jen: Great getting that pen put up...I know what it is like when your animals run away...
Rachel: I bought some new cats toys. My cats are playing with a "banana" filled with catnip and some small catnip mice. I also got them some little fuzzballs...
PrincessRoja: I just watched a newclip about people in the arts providing dance/acting classes in the community for children...
Today, I finished getting my car ready for the winter. I am so glad to have that done before the cold wet weather is here. I got a much needed haircut. I think 5 inches were taken off...I also ordered some health stuff. I reorganized a big stack of papers this am...I washed some old sneakers for the first time...
I walked last night. No exercise this am, except for a brief walk to a gas station. Diet so-so: half a BLT wrap, pumpkin spice latte, 2 cupcakes, chicken salad sandwich...
When I can not diet/exercise, I feel better about myself if I get other stuff accomplished.

Hello October!
Usc4valpo, congrats! You are so close to the Mendoza line!!! You've done so well!!!
Teri, do your kitties like the toys? Have you seen that wiggly fish toy for cats that's been advertised lately? It's called Flippity Fish. I plan to get that for my Dad for Christmas for his cat. He can just sit in his recliner and play with the cat with it . Comes with a fishing pole.
Yesterday I took in 1410 calories. Did treadmill and leg weights for exercise. Having Subway with a friend today.
Today's Plan: 1500 calories, 2 liters water, veggies, fiber, calcium.

Copied from Crosswalk Devotions for Dieters
October 1
2 Corinthians 12:10
Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches,in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.
Having to diet was like having a bad rash. It was almost impossible to ignore, and it never went away. It was a real test of will not to give in when the stomach started growling. More than anything he ate regularly, just not as much as he was used to. He always prided himself on being a strong person. His diet was proving otherwise. He was short-tempered and cranky. As hard as it was, he had to admit he needed help. He prayed for God to strengthen him through his diet. With God's help, he felt he might just make it.
Today's thought: I'm stronger than my stomach gives me credit for being!

Wi 184.8. Think I ovulated...let the pms gain commence. I ate food a little later...which is my normal goal for 16:8 but not my OMAD.
I did not do my usual morning routine....ack...i did get extra exercise yesterday teaching youngest how to ride w/out training wheels. my oldest happened to call while he was learning so that was nice!
Going to do 20 hours from 1150 am because I'm going to need energy to pack car etc...to go to on road trip tomorrow. Going to NC for Feast of Tabernacles we can't stay a whole week but just weekend will be ok with my mom.

Teri, how fun! There's a lot of things like that in my area too.
Feeling happy to post again for the first time in a long time, so that's good.
Breakfast: part of almond poppyseed muffin, milk
Lunch: grilled cheese and tomato, tropical smoothie, roasted carrot, 3 sm squares chocolate
Snack: choc beet muffin
Dinner: 1/2 cup leek soup, 4ish stuffed shells (the small kind), green beans, blueberry yogurt
Exercise: 10-15 minutes biking and core and such... not much today. Lots of massage.
Throughout July and August I was hovering between 139.5 and 140.5, usually towards the higher end. The last week I've been between 138.5 and 139.5 so I think I've lost that pound again. I hope. It would make sense with the extra activity.
