Good morning
Diana, thanks for thinking of me
Jen and Ciecie,
Nancy, those fires are absolutely devastating and heart-breaking. I can't even imagine. Like Diana, I am praying also.
Teri, I love all my cats; can't say I have a favorite right now. However, a number of years ago, I did. Her name was Sarah. It was odd; she was like a sister to me or something. The bond I had with her was unlike any other cat I've had. I look forward to having her with me again in Heaven.
Today's goals: 1300-1500 calories, 2 liters water, veggies, fiber, calcium, treadmill, maybe upper body weights for biceps and shoulders.

Good Morning!
Nancy: I have been thinking about you. I wonder if there is anything you can do to make the air cleaner in the house and anything you can wear outside to protect your lungs...I used to have a respirator...
Rachel:
Diana: Many years ago, I went to this German restaurant. There were all these different types of sausage. I did not know what to order... ...I still would not know what to order...
The weather is cool again. I pulled 2 bushels of weeds and I walked at dusk. Diet could be better.

Colossians 3:2
Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.
The smells from the cafeteria were more than Blanche could take. Not that the cafeteria food was anything to write home about, but when she was on a diet, almost anything smelled good! She grabbed her jacket and headed out the door. Immediately, the fresh fall air erased the cafeteria smells. The sky was a deep blue, and the white clouds lazily drifted by. The sun was out, the birds were singing, and everything was right with the world. Blanche spent her lunch hour just strolling through God's splendor. Before she knew it, her hunger had passed, and she was ready to tackle the afternoon. The glory of God had lifted her above her earthly passions, and she was grateful.
Today's thought: There's much more to life than lunch!

Good morning chickies,
Thank you for your prayers. This morning we woke to very smoky and orange sky. It is so thick we have all our windows closed and when you look outside it is just like an heavy heavy fog has descended on all the trees right down to the ground. There is a warning out for 'hazardous' and 'extremely hazardous' air quality warning until Monday 11am. I thought it was bad a few years ago but this tops it for sure. We are staying indoors (this is mentally killing me). This coupled with my very stressful week (1. oh got calls from two fraud departments from amex and discover someone trying to open a credit card in my name 2. Thought DH business was on fire turned out to be a few blocks away a homeless encampment. 3. took some very nasty calls from customers....sheesh the list is long) soooo
Official WI up 1.0 for the week
WO not sure how I am going to work that one out the next few days.
Travel will really be only for essentials
Rachel, you cat named sarah seems so sweet
Teri, you work so hard in your garden, I bet it is so pretty
ciecie happy belated birthday
Diana, wow you have been busy
hugs to all

Good afternoon! Power walked and ran errands this morning. Went to a couple of house hold sales. One was at the home of a lady who taught with and was a very close friend of my mom’s. Dee moved to a senior citizens apartment complex about 30 minutes away.

Good night all! Power walked to and home from church tonight. Stopped off at Mexicali’s for supper. Stopped in at the local supermarket to get some milk as I was running low. Watched some tv after I got home.😁

Isaiah 26:3
Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.
Bud believed his doctor really did have his best interests in mind. Bud wouldn't have dieted if anyone else had told him he should, but his doctor carried a little more weight. Bud kept to the diet because he felt it was the right thing to do. Trust was a big factor in making everything work. Trust is a big factor in anything we try to do. Giants of the Christian faith were able to do such great things because they trusted that the Lord was with them. We, perhaps not giants of the faith, need to rest assured that we can trust God and that He will do everything He can to help us lose weight.
Today's thought: The only thing God will let down is my weight!
