  • good afternoon! welcome organizedchaos! did 2 miles leslie sansone before i had breakfast. had breakfast. took a shower and got ready to go to my aunt's funeral. got home about an hour ago. will go for a power walk and run errands in a few minutes.

    No workout to report, I had the children's camp today and then our Ladies Heart 2 Heart church meeting.

    PST (my new acronym positive self talk) went well today, only a few tsk tsk, but then I corrected myself, steps

    WO was upper body and it was a bit hard but not dripping wet hard

  • good night all! power walked and ran an errand before i ate a very light supper. had a big lunch today. funeral luncheon was at a restaurant that's owned by the brother of a friend of my uncle and late aunt. watched agt-the finals tonight. will be shutting down to go to bed in a few minutes. another busy day tomorrow. have to go see my doctor for a physical tomorrow afternoon.

    Yesterday went well. Met my goals and took in 1390 calories.

    Today's goals: 1300-1500 calories, 2 liters water, veggies, fiber, calcium, treadmill, leg weights.
  • good morning! thanks rachel! it should go well. one of the nurses, tiffany, called while i was at my aunt's funeral yesterday to go over my meds. i called back as soon as i got the message. tiffany was with another patient so i spoke to linda. i told her the two medications i'm on. will have breakfast and work out in a few minutes.

    Good Morning.

    Nancy: Neighbor has a new yellow lab pup that needs to be socialized...

    I walked this am. It was not that early but it was dark and it had just rained! I did not walk last night. I saw a school bus, but it looked like no one was getting on it. I saw some parents driving their kids to school... OH, I did do some weeding yesterday. It was humid, so I did not do much.

    Diet okay except for small sundae, some jelly beans and CHERRY TURNOVER...ooh. Oh, I got brave and got on the scale. Summer is so hard for me to stay on the diet. Anyway I am only 10 pounds up from my lowest weight.

    Goals: Lose 5 pounds this month. Don't overeat. Use food mover.

    Ben was afraid to even try a diet. He never had much luck with things that required a lot of willpower on his part. He caved in much too easily. If only someone else would make his decisions for him. He had never been overweight when he lived at home and had his mother around to tell him what to eat and what not to eat. Ben would be the first one to admit that he had no self-control. Unfortunately, we all have to learn to discipline ourselves. God doesn't tell us what to do. He gives us complete freedom, but He will help us have the strength to make right decisions if we ask Him to. Include God, and He will make some wonderful things happen.

    Today's thought: True power is the ability to say no!

    organized chaos welcome.

    things are hectic my coworker who is 11 years younger had a heart attack due to a blood clot. Unless the office works to find someone temporary im all by myself for both shifts. Im not happy and feel almost defeated if I complain. I had two days of severe migraines before she had the h/a so i feel really bad. No doubt it was the implanted birth control. They did the heart catch and caught the blood clot before too much damage was done.

    She has to be out of work until the 14th. Even after that im not comfortable with her doing normal work..

    Anyways, my weight is HIGHER @ 189. I remember this happened another time. I've lost 2 inches overall in a week though. So I'm not too upset. Since it is especially my stomach pooch going down

    still doing the intense 7 min workout. Still stretching. Working on flexibility and strength. The 7 min intense wo also gets my heart pumping..

  • good afternoon! dr. appointment went very well. have orders for blood and urine test and mammogram. will go in a couple of weeks for blood and urine test. am staying home tomorrow and friday to get things done here. next week is all filled up with a dentist appointment on tuesday and work next wednesday and friday.
