Good Morning!

Hi Weightloss: wish I had your energy. Welcome!
Rachel: I did not see that coming (the tiger...) Yeah! You did some gardening. I know about stiffness...Maybe I will do some more today.
Keep coming back Realistic, Weightloss, Lunashira, Meshach.
Lunashira: I need to be reminded alot about water consumption...
Nancy: I hope those big problems are gone...

No exercise yesterday, except watering plants. I did do a new to do list which is really good for me. Diet okay. I have been eating cheap tv dinners lately. I usually add cooked veggies to them. I think maybe they have too much salt.

Hello to all... I've been lurking instead of posting for the last couple weeks. Everything is okay here, just very busy with various jobs and volunteering and life!

Default Still here

ok, so i want to say hi to you guys and welcome the new people realistic, mesha, nari, weight loss

I have been super busy. I built the pen finally and have been doing things around the house that count as exercise but i have just done an actual workout today.

I got a new low of 182.3 this past week but I've gone back up again so I am not sure if I will break 180s this week either. I did have a stomach upset from eating Chinese food too late last night...so that might affect my weight a little. I was 185.6 this morning.

So i was able to walk a mile with the boys today. They still complained but it was a little hot yet. Since the dogs were safe in the pen, I was able to do a morning workout TOO this am.

Terri, I love how big cats basically act like small cats.

Ciecie my fastest was 4.5 mph...reminded me of you...i was probably chasing a kid.

Princess, hope you are still liking that job

Nancy, those fair foods sound tantalizing

Diana, my body is a drama queen too. I think I'm about to ovulate and I'm starting to swell I think, plus I had ALOT of salt again. We are bouncing around the same area still.

Good evening to all,
WI a 1.6lb jump up today but I deserved that since we ordered takeout from olive garden. I ate the lowest foods I could find but still the sodium killed me.
WO yep did it 30 min strength training upper body

OK this is just my personal rant feel free to really skip it-its depressing
Work has been more stressful than I could imagine, being in a small family owned company can be really tough for the outsider (me) inside the office. The other employees are the 'outside guys' and are not under a microscope during the day. I watch as the owners two grown children come in late, leave early, chat on facebook, do face time with their spouse, or in the sales guys case, just not do his job for a few weeks with more excuses (some legit others I am not buying it)--(does he not know part of my job is to monitor where the company trucks are being driven??? I know where he goes sheesh, but then again so does his dad, the owner)...So if something isn't right or I have a problem I don't feel I can go to the owner to talk about his two children...I am getting so stressed. Of course there are all kinds of back story to this rant and I just don't have the energy ...I am just letting this go to get it off my chest so I can sleep tonight

back later chickes, keep going You ALL are doing so well

Ciecie, I pray for good news from eye dr.

Its early and I'm not outnof bed yet...just laying here with a boy on either side.

Good news about my eldest, he got a job with Amazon in a project manager position, he was working part time as taxi dispatch, h e doesn't like the change in dynamics with the people he works with because he is a boss.

Default Good morning

Princessroja, so good to hear from you!

Jen,

Diana, your husband's conditions must be very painful

Nancy, your job situation sounds sticky. Not sure what you can do? It's good you vented. We're here to listen

I got my veggies chopped up yesterday. So much easier to stay on plan if i have fresh salad available.

Today's plan: 1200 calories, 2 liters water, veggies, fiber, calcium, treadmill, maybe arm weights.

Good Morning, Everyone!

I never knew DH's pain was as bad as it is. He has always been a "complainer" and that's just his personality type. But I am seeing now that the pain situation is a reality. I am so grateful that the Lord has allowed us to retire so DH doesn't have to work the way he has in the past and we can focus on getting some help for him.

I want to share something from yesterday. When I got up and was getting ready to take DH to his Dr's apt I didn't have time to do my daily Bible reading and devotion. Then last night I was tired and decided to do it this morning along with today's reading. This morning I got all caught up but I would have benefited yesterday from the Bible reading and devotion that I was suppose to read. It really spoke to me and maybe I would have made different choices at the restaurant yesterday. Today I am paying the price for my poor choices. I am really sodium sensitive, so nothing at the restaurant would have been great but it would be better than what I am dealing with today. I can really appreciated those words I read today.

Ciecie Good luck with your appointment today.

Last night: Basic stretches
This morning: Oxycise

Calories for yesterday: 1670 +
Weigh In: 187.2
Up: 3 pounds (crazy! It's all water weight, but just crazy! I also updated my ticker. I haven't gotten back down to that low. I updated it and will move on)

Have a Blessed day, stay safe and healthy!

Copied from Crosswalk Devotions for Dieters

September 29

John 16:33
'These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.'

Leo wanted to remember how tough it was. He'd lost the weight, but he never wanted to get back into the poor shape he'd recently been in. It would be way too easy to fall back into bad habits, thinking that the battle was won once for all time. It was nice to have succeeded. But Leo planned to make sure his success lasted a good, long time. It is nice to overcome obesity, but it is an ongoing battle. We should ally ourselves with the one true conqueror: Jesus Christ. With Christ's help, we can continue to triumph over our weight problems. He grants not only peace, but power to overcome any obstacle.

Today's thought: If we empty our plate, we won't lose our weight!

Diana I understand about the daily devotion and choices...and like you I made a few poor choices yesterday to the point I know I am up but could not face my scale today

Thank you all for your words of encouragement that means so much to me

Good Morning!

Jen: I sometimes imagine what my domestic cats would be like if they weighed 200 lbs, 400 lbs, 600 lbs...(I don't know what the big cats weigh.) Anyway, I don't think they would behave much different than the big cats. I guess there is some differences between small wild breeds and domestic cats. And some differences between hybridized breeds (between domestic cats and small wild breeds) and domestic breeds. OH, I looked up wts. of the big cats...100, 200, 300 lbs. I once read that outdoor domestic cats have much bigger brains than their indoor counterparts...

Diana: It would be difficult for me to focus with chronic pain. Some people are much better at putting it out of their mind and dealing with what is at hand. I think there was a famous hypnotist named Erickson who had chronic pain from polio who worked on this.

Nancy: I too found food at Olive Garden to be really salty. It is frustrating when you dine out...The US has an aging population. You would think restaurants would be more attuned... I thought Taco Bell used to have a fresco menu which was healthier. They discontinued it. I assume it was not popular...

I walked last night. No walking this am. I am so glad we had rain (after 2 weeks of no rain). Diet so-so. It could be much worse. Some BLTs. I used really small amounts of bacon...like 3/4's of a strip per wrap.

I am working on items on a to do list. Yesterday, I mended some leggings. I am not working really fast...but I am making progress. When I can not do diet stuff, I work on something else.
