  • Good night all! Power walked to and home from supper tonight. Ran errands on the way home. Also ran into some friends I hadnít seen in a long time. A couple of them I hadnít seen in six months. Did a couple of loads of laundry when I got home. Iíll hang them up outside on the line tomorrow to dry.😁❤️

    I actually got more exercise in yesterday so I feel good about that. Did treadmill plus a walk to the service station to pick up my vehicle after it wouldn't start (bad battery). My service station stills pumps the gas for you; isn't that amazing!! Small town perks


    Today's goals: 1200 calories, 2 liters water, veggies, fiber, calcium, treadmill, maybe some weights.

    It didn't look like it was going to work out. Becky wanted to lose a few pounds before the dance. It wasn't any big deal, but that made it worse. She'd had almost six weeks, and in that time she hadn't lost any weight at all. She kept telling herself she had plenty of time, but time had slipped away. Now it was too late, and she felt terrible. Why had she been so stupid? Why hadn't she taken it more seriously? Not only did she feel bad because she was overweight, but she also felt guilty and hopeless. Somehow she had to learn to knuckle down and stick to what she needed to do. With God's help, maybe she could.

    Today's thought: Today I lose weight; tomorrow's too late!

    Good Morning!

    Rachel: I accidently stepped on my girl cat's tail yesterday...but she is doing okay. My cats like to sit in a screened in window early in the am. When I come back from my walk, I put my nose to the screen and make a big fuss over them. ...I need to take a picture some time. I guess I need to take my camera along with me. Ooh...it is stressful when you have car problems...

    No exercise yesterday. Diet so-so, but I am getting some veggies and fruit in. But I walked this am. No gardening, except watering. I need to get it together. Need to finish washing car and get back to planting...

  • Good morning again! Hung the laundry that I did yesterday out on the line to dry this morning. Will go for a power walk and run errands in a few minutes. 😁❤️

    Well official WW weigh in....finally finally finally they showed my 10lb gone and I got a new charm...sheesh it has taken 8 months to get that little jewel LOL Last milestone with WW was Feb.
    WO nothing today but I am geared up to start my new program on Monday....just needed to get my head on and in the game to jump back in.

    No time for personals....you chicks are such an inspiration to me I wish I could give you all hugs...so will have to do a visual squeeze and try not to step on your toes

    Today I went to the food portion of a carnival with my friends from church. Bad decision, but it was fun. The fair is not coming to town this year so I thought this would be fun. So my food was off plan but I did a whole lot better than if we had went to the actual fair.

    Exercise: 45 minute outdoor walk

    And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee: for thou, Lord, hast not forsaken them that seek thee.

    It was nice to see that the church cared so much about the ladies' group that dieted together. At the annual church planning board dinner, it was suggested that a low calorie menu be offered. Dieting was so much easier when other people understood and cooperated with you. It was gratifying to be supported by the church as if by one's own family. God had been good to the ladies of the church. God's love should be apparent in our churches. The church should be a place where we know we will be affirmed and supported. God never forsakes His children, and His children should be careful not to forsake each other.

    Today's thought: No matter what, I'm not on this diet alone!

    Yesterday went well. Took in 1110 calories. Weighed in this morning at 136.5. I need to get veggies chopped up today or tomorrow.
