June 2020 - Daily Accountability/Lifestyle Change - Everyone Welcome!
Hi, Everyone! Welcome to the Check-In! Let's make it a great month!
I want to welcome everyone to the Daily Accountability Check-In. Our goal is to stay accountable and on track by posting our daily food and exercise choices. All food and exercise programs are welcome. Consistency is the key to reaching our weight loss goals.
Introduce yourself or jump right in and tell us what you have been doing.
Yesterday I took in 1155 calories. I rested a lot yesterday. I've been incorporating some new foods (new to me anyway) into my diet: Hummus and hominy (not necessarily together) onto my salads. Not bad.
Thanks Diana, once again, for starting a new thread...
Same old, same...Walked 20 last night. Biked 30 this am. Diet okay except for cake, ice cream... I am pleased with the increase in walking I did in May...And I did a lot of weeding.
I have some business stuff to take care of this morning. Hopefully it won't take all day like what I went through last week and I plan to bring water!
Last night: Basic stretches
This morning: Oxycise
Calories for yesterday: 1310 +
Weigh In: 184.4 (I am still 1.8 pounds above our "retirement" celebration meal and binge this week. But I did have an overall loss for May)
Have a Blessed day, stay healthy and a great start to your week!

1 Corinthians 13:12
For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.
One thing would really make dieting easier: Knowing what the results are actually going to look like. When we diet, we have to hold onto some image we have created in our own minds. Perhaps it is an image crafted from an old picture, or a memory of what we looked like so many years ago. Still, there is no tangible goal we can point to and say, 'That is what I will look like when I lose weight.' We have to live in hope of something we want, and hope can be scary. Ask God to help you. He will enable us to believe in what we imagine, even when we can't always see it in reality.
Down 1 lbs after a week of IF 16/8.
I thought I shed more weight than that, but am still happy with the result. A steady loss is better than a drastic one. Hehe
I plan to keep doing IF this month, but won't go too hard. Maybe 3 days per week.
good morning again! just had breakfast. took the trash to the curb. took my winter bathrobe out of the dryer and put my sheets and pillow cases in the dryer.
good evening! yangtzer, that's not my dog in my avatar. my dog crossed the rainbow bridge many years ago. don't have any pictures of him on my computer. will be getting supper ready in a few minutes. had major problems with my email today. everybody who lives in the same area i do that has the same provider that i do had that problem. called tech support to get help only to get a message that they were having problems with the email.
Good afternoon/eve to all
Well as you know I had a huge jump on the scale for no apparent reason. Was not any salt bombs yesteday as I made all the food I consumed, no take out, no adult beverages ....so no reason. I only hope it goes down in a few days as I have been really careful this past week.
WO got my 35 min lowerbody and HIIT in, tomorrows line up 45 min total body with weights....we weill see how that goes
Rachel, I love hummus and making my own. I put it on everything even things that make so sense. It really does taste good when you use a celery stick as a spoon LOL
