Teri, so sad about your family member's dog mourning the loss of his/her furry companion . Heartbreaking.

Use4valpo, am delighted you enjoyed your anniversary!!

Yesterday I took in 1060 calories and got treadmill done. Today I plan to have a Subway with a friend and lunch in a park. I will give myself 1500 calories today.

Romans 8:18
For I reckon that sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed to us.

Jimmy was fascinated by the cocoon. He watched the caterpillar work on its new home for hours. Everyday he came in to look at the cocoon. When the monarch butterfly finally emerged, Jimmy was delighted. God works some amazing miracles in nature. It shouldn't be so hard to believe that He will work such miracles in the lives of His people. Losing weight might not seem like a miracle, but for those who struggle with their weight, it often feels as if only a miracle will suffice. If God can transform a caterpillar into a beautiful butterfly, He certainly can help us when all we want is to lose weight.

Today's thought: I am one of God's miracles, and He will help me be my best!

Hi!

usc: Congrats on your anniversary. Wonderful to revisit a special place and have ice cream, too!

diana: Your dining out sounds great. Hope you continue to stay well...

Rachel: Animals are very sentient creatures...The owner of the dog in mourning never sees her howling like I do...

Nancy: So sorry to be the brunt of a nasty customer...I usually think of myself as the queen of nice, but I discovered that if I am pushed or have a really really bad day, I can put my foot in my mouth. I usually apologize. I don't like being like that...I hope that person regrets what they said...

I walked last night and walked this am. Diet a little off. But I am down a half pound. It is going to be awhile before I get back to baseline.

Diet okay except for sundae and cookies yesterday and frappe and potato chips this am. I am thinking about getting a half a meatball sub. I get them at a gas station. It is a problem because I estimate that 10 to 20 percent of the people there don't wear masks and there have been 10 new covid cases in that town this week...I never say anything...

I think this will be the 9th day of 90 plus degree weather. But tomorrow it is supposed to be 82. I hope they are so right.

Hi Everyone!

I am completely beside myself . . . . . I forgot to eat lunch today! And no one got hurt! I got busy today doing laundry and house stuff then I had to run out to do some errands. While I was eating dinner I was thinking about what I ate so I could keep track so I could make my post tonight and I realized that I didn't eat lunch. I normally catch a really bad attitude if I even eat late.

GOOD MORNING!

IT IS COOL! And it rained! But it is supposed to get hot again in a couple of days...

It rained last night and then I fell asleep, so I did not walk or bike, but I walked this am and got caught in a gentle rain. Diet fine yesterday except for frappe and sundae...I skipped the meatball sub... I think maybe it is better to stay away from places where people don't wear masks. Plus I think I should eat less red meat...

I transplanted some little seedlings yesterday and filled up some more containers with dirt. If the weather cooperates, maybe I will transplant more today...

Good Morning, Everyone! Happy Weekend!

Last night: Basic stretches
This morning: Oxycise

Calories for yesterday: 1225 +
Weigh In: 184
Up: .4 (No idea why, except maybe the BBQ sauce)

Have a Blessed day and a great start to your weekend! Stay safe and healthy!

1 Corinthians 7:17
But as God hath distributed to every man, as the Lord hath called every one, so let him walk. . .

Karen got so angry. Her friend Angie had started her diet at the same time Karen began. They had shopped together, eaten to-gether, exercised together, but Angie had lost seven pounds more. It wasn't fair. What was the use of dieting when she couldn't lose weight as fast as her friend? She put forth the same effort, but got less reward. God has made each of His children differently. No two are exactly alike. We are called by God to do our best with what we are given. We may not have the same results on our diet that others have on theirs, but that's okay. God will bless us for what we do and that's what really counts.

Today's thought: God will help me lose my weight without losing my mind!

Good morning! I think I am doing better the past couple of days. I am going to do some strength training , some yard work although the lawn is very dry and probably does not require mowing, an a nice walk at the park. Calories wise I wad at or below the target over the past 2 days.
