Default Good morning

I averaged 1329 calories for the past week. I plan to allow myself 1500 calories today; family stuff going on. No exercise planned for today. Church then scrabble with my cousin for the first time since about February. Will wear mask for both.

Today's goals: 1500 calories, 2 liters water, veggies, fiber, calcium.

Good Morning, Everyone!

Last night: Basic stretches
This morning: Oxycise

Calories for yesterday: 1395 +
Weigh In: 184
No Change (I was thinking the gain from the day before was from the BBQ sauce. I woke yesterday and this morning feeling bloated. So there is something going on that my body is working through. Maybe it's sodium or slight constipation. Crazy body.)

Have a Blessed day and stay safe and healthy!

Copied from Crosswalk Devotions for Dieters
July 12

Galatians 1:10
For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for it I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ.

Granny wanted Ellen to lose weight. She used to offer her bribes all the time, to encourage her. The problem was, no matter how much weight Ellen lost, her grandmother wanted her to lose more. There was just no pleasing her. Instead of helping Ellen lose weight, Granny just made her more frustrated and discouraged. It wasn't until Ellen decided she wanted to lose weight for herself that it really worked for her. She prayed for God's help, and He delivered. Doing it for Granny wasn't enough, doing it for God and herself made it all worthwhile.

Today's thought: The more I care, the less I weigh!

I was upstate babysitting this week and it leaves me exhausted and lazy about posting but my food was good. My weightlifting suffered though. I think the running around after a toddler messes with my body and leaves it too tired to lift. I just couldnt make my weights this week which is very unusual. I returned home and the scale hadn't moved so I decided to shake things up a bit. Had a heavy dinner the other night (Italian sausages wrapped in a slice of cheese as a bun and some veggies) which was more processed and higher in salt than I usually eat but Saturday was a 36 hour fast day so I drank a lot of water and took my potassium and magnesium yesterday and this morning was rewarded with my first little drop in over 2 weeks. Am now looking at 203.8 on the scale.

ciecie - I would love to power walk to church except 1) church is closed here and 2) I would be a sweaty mess when I arrived for sure.

Wishing you all a peaceful Sunday. After video church, I plan to do some quilting today. Haven't been able to find the time for months (I was sewing hospital masks to donate all spring for 4 hours a day and had no desire to then sit down and quilt) but today I am looking forward to working on some creative projects that have been waiting forever by the machine.

Good morning, I am doing better weight wise and moving in the right direction. I am down 1.3 pounds for the week after bumping up 2.5 pounds due to water weight, a delta of 4.2 pounds for the week. I also stayed at or below my target and exercise well, particularly yesterday where I did strength training, 7 mi walk which was dumb because of the heat, and mowed the yard. We had homemade crab cakes and Caesar salad last night which was awesome and as a family we watched Clueless.

Hello to all
I promise I was not lost this weekend, just very distracted.... I did log the good, bad and a bit of ugly. You know even if you don't log it your body keeps score. I have been all over the place with weight but ww points have been in the normal limit

WI up and down for last two days...lots to factor in. Not really surprised I am up a bit but I know it is sodium, I splurged on thin crust veggie pizza, light cheese and sauce.
WO met my step goals this week so yeah.

Took an emergency trip to the ocean today...(2.5 hours each way) I wanted some flat round beach rocks to paint. We decided to go up hwy 101 the cut over to the beaches. Well no stones on the beach we traveled on BUT.....saw that a cliff had had a slide so we made our way to the the dirt a poof ....flat almost smooth rocks in all kinds of shapes but I will take them. I must have hauled 25lb worth to our car about a mile down the beach...so workout done.

Kudos on those that have lost! No time for personals and tomorrows work load is going to be heavy for the next 3 days.....I will be thinking of you

usc4palvo, congrats on the anniversary! hope work stress eases up soon
nancy, sorry to hear about the work difficulties. I've definitely noticed people getting very crabby in online communication the last few months, and I'm sure it's COVID-related. The stress and uncertainty are enormous... not that that makes it any easier when people target you with said crabbiness. Happy birthday!!
diana, I feel you on the hangry!
gzgrl, hope the babysitting keeps going well!

Yesterday:
Breakfast: 2 beet muffins, milk
Lunch: sweet potato mash, cherries, small slice key lime pie
Snack: 2 beet muffins, milk
Dinner: squash soup, sandwich, pineapple sorbet
Exercise: 1ish hour biking, 90 minutes walking

Today:
Breakfast: cereal
Lunch: sweet potato mash, cherries, beet muffin, popsicle
Snack: 2 muffins (are you sensing a pattern? I really like these muffins lol), a bit of mac and cheese
Dinner: squash soup, pesto potato skillet, cherries
Snack: cereal (should have had bigger portions at dinner; I had really tiny portions and now I'm still hungry)
Exercise: 2 hours walking and biking

I've been actively trying to restrict my calorie intake this week so I'm hoping I'll see results. I'm certainly plenty active right now...
