I don't believe in "Diets" necessarily. I eat less food, try to eat less processed food, more green veggies/produce and things with plenty of fiber and protein. I was on weight watchers for a bit when was actually pretty helpful- because its less about dieting and more about motivating yourself to eat healthier options while still having room to eat the foods you like. While calorie counting is NO FUN- it does help you keep track of what you're actually consuming. I have a fit bit- and using the app I can keep track of my activity, period, weight, resting heart rate, and calorie intake. There are plenty of other apps for that as well though. You'll find if you calorie count that you'll naturally start being attracted to healthier foods and less like to get a 2,000 calorie milkshake.
I am trying to go low carb- but at doctor suggestion because of health rather than a diet. Right now I'm easing into it since I can feel very weak and have intense migraines when I eat too little carbs.
