Default Good morning

Yesterday, I took in 2000 calories. Had birthday cake and ice cream (which I had not planned) for elderly 98 year old friend's birthday! Also got into some candy and nuts after supper. So easy for those calories to hike up. I don't seem to have the "drive" that I had in January when I started. I seem too complacent. Yet, I DO want to lose the rest of my weight, but apparently not badly enough? Just venting my thoughts and ponderings. I don't want to give up.

Today's goals: veggies, fiber, lift some weights, treadmill, 1200-1300 calories, 2 liters water.

Good Morning 143 this morning, BP 126/81 which makes since as I am very cold and just had 2 cups of coffee! Yesterday was VERY busy with a deficit of about 1200 calories.

Today is planned. Yesterday's dog trainiing was intense and, for the first time in over a year, I wound up with inner thigh leg cramps. If you have never had them, they are absolutely excrutiating. Between a tbsp of mustard after I slapped my legs until I could stand, I got them at bay then got into bed and had a charley horse in my calf but I killed that one by flexing my foot. All i can think is I peed a whole lot before dog training for whatever reason and may have been dehydrated and did not properly rehydrate when I got home. Still a bit tender today. Well.

Kelijpa - we've got this chicks! Hang in there!

Diana - good work for the day back on track

Rachel - Hope today is a good day for you! FOCUS! Plan!

Nancy - you know the workouts seem to make me hungry and are a challenge in that regard. I found this article for me that maybe could help you. I don't know but I do know you are really working out a lot. In any regard I am considering the advice as I get ravenous after training. I am ravenous right now because I got home last night too late to eat supper. https://www.shape.com/healthy-eating...-tough-workout

Philippians 4:19
But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

It really wasn't fair that so many thin people couldn't understand what it meant to be fat. Patty got mad when skinny friends chastised her for not sticking to her diet better. What did they know? Patty was always so thankful to God for what weight she'd been able to lose already that she could never understand why her friends put her down. Didn't they know what she had to sacrifice? Whenever Patty got mad at her friends, she asked God to help calm her down. His peace filled her heart, and she was able to relax. God had done so much for her while she dieted. Too bad her friends couldn't see it.

Today's thought: God is with me when it feels like the world is against me!

Good Morning!

Thank you for all the hurrahs! I think drinking golden milk is helping me to lose weight...

I finally biked and lifted weights last night. I only did part of my knee exercises.
I ate too many little lemon cakes. Later, I did not feel that great. It is better if I make my own bakery stuff.

I did a lot of sorting yesterday.
Later...

Good morning all,
151.7 this morning
6.7 over personal goal

Surprised at the drop this morning, I guess the previous was more sodium than I realized. Weíll see what happens next.

Diana sorry your juice is messing with your stomach. Probably good to get off antacids if you can. I havenít really needed since we have been using probiotics, some things still trigger it tho. I have been taking this thing called Estroven, I had $10 off coupon, it seemed to help with menopause symptoms but now that I am almost at the end of the pack it seems less so. I think Iíll go back to my multi and super B, seems to work best for me. Weíre always experimenting arenít we.

Nancy I kept telling myself yesterday you donít need anything else, it helped that the potatoes were leftover so when they were gone they were gone, no opportunity. Haha I remember I used to pack up the extra right away so I wouldnít take seconds, might have to start that again. Iím telling myself a little hunger is a good thing. I bought a big tub of Fage, plan to mix with fruit and also make some bagels.

Granny thanks youíre right, we got this. We should celebrate that we nipped it the bud, like Barney Fife said, I have seen some friends who gained all back and then some. I also think gaining back a little and noticing that you donít like how you feel is important for the long term.

Rachel Hi, I heard a podcast awhile back about the complacency trap. Itís hard to get past feeling good enough, maybe revisit your goals and why you started, sometimes that will kickstart or will help you accept where youíre at as success. My leader at WW recently told me to think about whether I need to adjust my goal or work my program a little stronger.

Ciecie you are rock solid and a rock star. I always enjoy your check ins. With the time change I will be getting reacquainted with Leslie Sansone.

Teri

Hope everyone is doing well and has a great day

Good afternoon to some/morning to others LOL
No WI this am, I actually slept in and did not go to the gym today. I feel super bloated and just could not face the scale, plus my hands kept me up last night
So no WI and no WO

granny usually after my workouts I am ot really hungry right away and I do got straight fromt he gym to my work where between 8:30-9:30 I will eat one or two pieces of fruit and a cup of fat free greek yogurt along with just a bit of granola. This keeps me satisfied if not full until 12:30-1:30 when I can eat some lunch.
My problem is after dinner eating and/or drinking a glass of wine or 3 LOL
I have to find a way to wrangle that back in
kelijpa, I really like Fage FF Greek Yogurt, I have discovered a yummy since I have never been a huge yogurt fan, I hve been adding about 1T of sugar free toffee syrup (you know the kind you put in coffee) in the yogurt with 1/4C granola....oh my pure bliss for me
rachel, we have to find a way to just adjust our mindset??? <snort>

back later

Hello Everyone

I am not being accountable every day, well don't have time to go online as too much work to get done.
Thank you Granny Nancy and Letz for your good wishes and advice!
and a late congratulations to Teri on your weightloss
.
I feel like I might be stalling in my slow progress., long winter nights and the cold...big workload...
Some days I am overeating a bit and exercising
other days I am eating very moderately but am stuck at the computer working and not exercising at all.
I haven't binged for four days.
Today I haven't eaten very much, it's very late as I have been working a lot...nearly bedtime but I might still do some exercise.
My aim is really to avoid the diet-binge syndrome so just keeping on.
Still trying to spend 20 minutes to eat even a small meal. lots of work deadlines and pressure for the next three weeks, but I will try.... and try to find 5 minutes to write something here.
Good luck everyone I am sorry if I don't respond or come here every day, I am working so hard to manage life's pressures.

kelijpa, thanks for your input about reassessing goals and complacency. I am pretty sure I'm kind of at that point. Recently I raised my goal weight because that seems more realistic for me right now and to reach that I would definitely consider that to be success.

Nancy, must be miserable to have your hands aching so. I'm thinking you might be Superwoman cuz I don't think I could be as active as you with such painful hands/joints. Like you said about "mindset," there's definitely something to that.

Yesterday, I met my goals, except for going over my calories a bit at 1520. I'm okay with that.

Today's goals:
veggies, fiber, 1200-1300 calories, 2 liters water.

Good Morning - 141.8, yesterday was 700 calorie deficit and BP was 111/76

Today is planned. Inner thighs still sore so only doing stretches and clamshells. Another day of PTO. We are dismanteling the dog stuff in the back of the truck so I can refurb it. "Bertha" , my Toyota Tundra turned 12 this year and is getting some body work, maybe some Linex, some detailing and seat covers. Figure she will probably be with us for another 10 years and we are making her more versatile by ditching the camper shell and adding a ladder rack so we can carry kayaks.

That said I will have to come up with a cover for the dog boxes so I can continue to pipe AC into them while driving and to keep them dry in the rain. Also need to figure out a way to keep water from getting trapped under my plywood drawers we made. Cant see buying a commercial bed drawer system for over 1K when I have one we made from plywood. May get a friend to weld us an enclosure we can hold in using our tie downs and we can slide the dog boxes in and out. Also need to get in some garden work! May as well pull out the squash plants and compost them and look at who needs to be covered for the freeze. They are mainly winter veggies so we should be ok.

Muse - as we are saying. BABY STEPS - 4 days is a small victory and no needs for apologies!. For me the short amount of time I spend with daily planning and posting (you know even if you just post and don't do personals) seems to help with focus. At least it does for me. But we all know our pressures and limits.

Nancy - ah that is a different issue for sure! And evening is the worst time to put down calories. - air popped popcorn eaten slowly seems controllable for me and fairly low calorie. I can stretch it out by eating one kernel at a time. The wine, can't help you there. I am sure it lowers resistance though.

Kelijpa - Hey a drop is a dropy you know. You know you are right "a little hunger is a good thing" - I recall when I was losing well I was hungry a lot but learned to embrace that feeling of mind hunger vs true stomach hunger. Also learning how we feel when we are adding too much weight. Probably also good as we are learning to be in touch with our bodies. So I decided to have some google time

https://www.webmd.com/diet/features/really-hungry#1

Jendiet - missing you.

Good Morning, Everyone! Happy Friday!

kelijpa I have heard of Estroven before. I seem to be doing OK right now. The big thing is slowing of the metabolism. I am taking the melatonin to help with acid and it seems to be giving me better sleep. I'm not having many hot flashes right now. But there is always next week for that.

I really thought/hoped the recent gains was a lot of water weight, but it appears not.

Last night: Basic Stretch
This Morning: Oxycise

Have a Blessed day and a great start to your weekend!

November 8

1 Thessalonians 3:9
For what thanks can we render to God again for you, for all the joy wherewith we joy for your sakes before our God.

Gail wished she could do more for Mrs. Cooper. One night Mrs. Cooper had passed by her apartment and heard Gail crying. She stopped to see if there was anything she could do to help. Gail told her about her diet and how hard it was. Mrs. Cooper had been very sympathetic, and had spent many hours with her since. She helped take Gail's mind off food. Gail really felt strongly that she wouldn't have made it through the diet without Mrs. Cooper. We have someone who will listen to us when things get to be too much for us. That someone is God, and we can be thankful that He is ever with us, ready to listen to the concerns of our hearts.

Today's thought: Let your praises to God be louder than the grumblings of your stomach!

Good morning to all
WI nope didn't do it again today, maybe tomorrow. But when I can feel my tummy pushing on the waitsband of my jeans I know I am bloaty big girl right now
WO got a normal one in but not as high energy as some days. Upper body since I skipped yesterday. Saturday I am going to have to find time to get a workout in.

Last night hand pain around at 4 so that is doable, this moring about the same so I took my aleve before leaving for the gym and put cbd cream on once I got to work. I see the dermatoligist today and going to ask for a recomendation to a rhumetologist. He gave me one last year and it took 9 months to get an appointment. I talked to the staff there on 3 separate times to ask about costs (I am not insured) and their min cost is way out of line with other specialist and...and...they could not give me a final cost or even a ball park with the attitude of, don't worry about the cost we will just bill you...wtf??? Unknown costs and who cares attittude is not where I want to trust my care.

Ok that rant is over whew....

Meals are planned up until dinner tonight, but I did make fairly good choices last night, not the best but getting better with the baby steps....

Diana, hot flashes and night sweats are the worst LOL. I still get both! not all the time but you can count on at least night sweats 4-5 nights a week. If you find something that works bravo!

Back later (I hopa hopa) for personals
