hi everyone!

I haven't been on in a few days, but the eating and weight have remained constant. Had a blast at the Calico Ghost Town on Friday and of course I went to Eddie World and got my favorite root beer flavored licorice, and also some green apple flavor this time. I love their licorice! A couple pieces a day is all I have and my weight is 162 this morning. Not too terrible after a 3 day weekend...it's been pretty steady. Need to keep moving down!

Today's food!
b - oikos triple zero coconut cream yogurt w/mixed nuts
s - maybe almond butter...didn't bring snack
l - grilled chicken breast tenders, wedge salad
d - probably turkey burger on cauliflower flat bread
I wanted to do some type of exercise since we didn't yesterday, but I didn't get enough sleep so I might be too tired. It's gloomy and even a little rainy today - the ghost town on Friday got up to 95. It was pretty good exercise but I need to lift!

I'm sorry I wasn't able to do personals even a little bit...I haven't had the time to catch up!

Oh oh oh almost forgot

NSV --- I arrive at the gym around 5:30 am each morning, On Monday mornings there is a gal who checks me in as she is just finishing up her shift from the night before. Today when I finished my treadmill I was doing my usual walking up and down the rows of machines to cool down a bit more and she saw me as she was leaving and I was near the front desk area. She stopped me and told me it looked like I had lost a lot of weight since I started coming there and was really slimming down.....shocked! Did not even think anyone there really paid attention to the members.

It was a real feel good moment that will carry me for a few days

Terri, yes those tea bottles sound like they will work. I have a question about the small purple red callas I just transplanted...they are already wilting...it got to almost 90 for 2 days...could that be forcing them into dormancy. .I watched carefully for transplant shock but am now just seeing them doing this. I got that from Walmart...so no telling how long they WERE blooming before put out for sale..

Nancy, compliments are always great NSVS.

Zallie, that's me during PMS...I just took my empower spray

boop WELCOME TO ONEDERLAND

ciecie, take one for me. When my toe gets completely better I'm going around the block to celebrate

syk, maintaining while away is awesome!!

Granny, I went back and read where you went on vacation, why do you despine urchins and what do u do with them?

Diana, I forgot to tell you thanks for the seder info!

I didn't track today, but I stayed on plan, didn't do OMAD. Already took the Empower to ensure I won't get into left over Easter candy...

Hello everyone! I have had a weird woosh...I weighed before I got in the shower tonight, but before dinner (I always do) and I was down to 160.4! I was hoping it would be in the 162 area but WOOSH! IDK why. this morning I was 162

Diana yum, that fish sounds FAB!
Jen, Zallie, Ciecie, Nancy, everybody HELLO!!! Hope you are all well this evening and had a good day

Dinner was a turkey burger on 2 cauliflower flatbreads with a slice of mozzarella, tomatoes, and pickles.

It will be interesting to see what the scale says in the morning...

Default Morning

Met plan yesterday. Actually had over input one thing so I had 1180 calories meeting the less than 1200 cal for the day.

149.4 today. Hallelujah!
That darn scale got unstuck.

Had a lovely phone call with my son in NZ last night. Life plans and philosophy .Art and religion. Worth the sleep I missed. He misses the gorgeous falls here and sugar maples. Guess NZ does not have the color we do.

Boopchick- Wonderful! One hundreds!

Good Morning, Everyone!

I have decided to keep my weigh in's according to the devotion that I am following.

Last night: Nothing
This Morning: Oxycise

Calories for yesterday: 1455 +

Have a Blessed day!

Copied from Crosswalk Devotions for Dieters

April 30

James 5:11
Behold, we count them happy which endure. Ye have heard of the patience of Job, and have seen the end of the Lord; that the Lord is very pitiful, and of tender mercy.

The end may not be in sight yet, but it's there somewhere. Ask the Lord for patience to make it work out. Job was beset by dozens of terrible afflictions, yet he kept his faith and his patience. He is a wonderful example for those of us who are dealing with the ordeal of a long diet. The Lord doesn't want us to suffer, even in small ways. When we diet, we open ourselves to a long, hard road of dis-comfort and struggle. Having the Lord on our side makes the struggle easier and the discomfort manageable. Job knew that as long as he had his faith, he had everything he needed to get by. The same is true for us today.

Today's thought: Patience makes the fast pass faster!

As part of a YouTube series, I'm cycling through "fad diets" as I lose weight. I'm on day three of veganism, and I've stuck to it without relying on processed foods. I have my tomato rice and brown beans prepped, a little leftover oatmeal, and plenty of greens, so I'm good for the day. In a few weeks, I've gone from a size 14 US to a size 6, and I really feel like my goal of 2/4 is attainable by mid-summer.

Next week is my five day water fast, and I'm less excited. Anticipate some posts about my broken resolve; lol.

Lame, to our group!!

Nancy, really nice on that compliment you received at your gym!!! Your hard and diligent work is noticeable!!!

Zallie, congrats on seeing the 140's . I also am seeing them! I am surprised because I have not been exercising due to taking care of my Uncle.

Today's plan:
fiber, veggies, 2 liters water, 1200 calories.
