Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers.
It is healing slowly but surely. Numbness is still there but pain has markedly decreased.
I am on light duty at work until further notice.

I'm getting there. Also starting to eat a little better. The depression had been making me emotionally eat/binge.
Again, thank you all for your prayers. I truly believe they have helped.

Today I did 20 min spinning, fitbit says I burned 257 cals.

Hi ladies, a big hug. I hope that you are all well. I am going to be shutting down a while (the pc), just stuff I have to take care of and disconnect to refurbish this room more or less but I will be thinking of you guys and hope to join you soon. EMily, I am glad your better, hang in there okay? You will get better...you keep going on!

Nancy, I do hope you got my response last week...I am not sure it went through but hope you got it. You are a real sweetheart! Thanks!

Flower, please don't travel early tomorrow morning as there will be ice on the roads in Boston, check the weather. I so hope that you are having a nice time, thinking of you..hugs.

Take care of each other as you always do! Be back when I can. Keep the faith and the love and keep rocking it!

Will write more later, but just need to say that I lost my first kilogram! 2.4 pounds down. Doing well with food and exercise, but haven't had a weekend yet, so I'm sure it'll be more difficult. But have a great day everyone. It's 37 degrees today - that's Celsius!

This Morning: Oxycise

NO WEIGH IN, SCALE BROKE

Have a Blessed day!

Copied from Crosswalk Devotions for Dieters

February 7

Luke 22:32
'But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren.'

Everyone always wanted Brad on their team. He was tall and very athletic, and every team he ever played for seemed to win. There was also something about Brad that brought out the best in everyone else. It's good to have someone on our side who can swing the odds in our favor. Jesus Christ is just that Someone. He promised His disciples that He would pray for them and they could not fail in their endeavors. He prays for us, too. Jesus is always on our side, and that makes us unbeatable. As we attempt to lose weight, it is vital that we include Jesus in our plans.

Today's thought: With Jesus on my side, temptation doesn't stand a chance!

Good morning to all
WI up 1.0 not sure why, meals were planned, no snacking so just the mystery of life again. They are saying we can expect another snow storm tomorrow night with up to 12" of snow--that is a big deal here. So I am going to scoot and get supplies as they are also predicting snow all next week. If that happens I will be at home until the thaw. My work place has almost closed down too because of the weather.

Back later today xxoo

Nancy, all the children's extra murals were cancelled today because of the heat here. What extremes!

Granny, yay!! I know "Not Eating ----" is going to be my accomplishment for today.

Emily, Thank God you are feeling better. What a roller-coaster for you dear. Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers..3 fingers on my right hand going numb as I type and feel some numbness in my left hand too...it's annoying and hard to push through. ..so I feel you..

momwannab, how crazy???

Nancy, how amazing??? Stay safe.

Diana, awesome on your calories...sorry scale is broke, but if you just focus on calories then maybe you will have a nice loss when you get your new scale.

Hi everyone, I'm still here!

Busy as usual - I took my exam on the 31st and it went well but you never know...I have a few weeks of nothing before I find out if I am done forever!

I have decided to go as grain-free as possible...hoping the scale starts to move. The new scale I have weighs me .6 higher than the old one so that does NOT help me! LOL

Menu plan:
b - baked potato w/cottage cheese
s - carrot
l - cauliflower and yellow lentil penne pasta w/basil alfredo and a couple pieces of chicken sausage (DH got to it last night so not much of the sausage is left)
d - tbd
exercise - we'll go do 30 minutes cardio on treadmill after work tonight.

I found this pasta (see lunch items) that I love and is made out of cauliflower and yellow lentils ONLY. nothing else. I love it! I also have the pizza crust and it's also amazing, though none of it is cheap! 5 months to Vegas and want to at least lose the 8 pounds I gained over the holidays I booked a really fun looking show at the Venetian while we're there called Human Nature Jukebox - a group from Australia that does the music starting with do-wop and all the way through to now. I looked them up on youtube and they are so good!

see you later!
